Pretty arrogant made me feel less then him a non caring attitude

Dr. Virkus fixed my broken ankle after my first surgery at a different hospital didn't work. It was a difficult job but he did it beautifully. He was also decisive in expressing his views about how to perform the surgery -- he told me clearly he thought he could fix it, and how he planned to fix it. Two years after my surgery with Dr. Virkus I walk normally with no pain. I'll always be grateful to him!

in 2001, dr virkus did an intramedullary nailing on me and seldom a day goes by that i don't give thanks for the work he did. i am extremely grateful to him.

Dr Virkus was the first doctor to give me a time line and explain what had to happen to my leg (tib/fib) in order to get it to heal. A project plan if you will. I was being treated by numerous doctors without any success. Resulting in infection and a 18 month recovery. Dr Virkus got my leg on track. Was very professional and knew his "stuff". Highly recommended.

Dr Verkus was very professional. Spent alot of time explaining the issues w/ the Fx. He was very reassuring and confident, a quality you want in a surgeon!!He and this staff were helpful to my daughter and here special circumstances

I was under the care of another doctor but found their level of interest to be lacking if not non-existent whereas Dr. Virkus has been taking the steps necessary to ensure that I receive the care needed and has proven to be proactive in seeking to resolve my leg infection.

Dr. Virkus misdiagnosed my leg alignment. He did not study the pre surgery x-rays or cat scans thoroughly if at all and it resulted in a poor surgery that I now have to have corrected. His post surgical care was worse and he dismissed me from his care without resolving the situation.

Without Dr. Virkus, I would have lost my arm. He did intense reconstruction surgery to my left arm and wrist, and has given me the most professional care I have ever received. He was recommended to me by head ortho staff at West Sub because they do not specialize in what he does. Dr. Virkus personally calls with updates on xrays he has viewed, and discusses future goals regarding my care
