Dr. Warner Miller Burch, MD

For supposedly being a thyroid specialist he missed the nodule on my thyroid. I drove two hours to be seen by the "best" and was disappointed. He had little jokes, and laughed off what I said. My PA did an ultrasound, found a nodule, and now I am finally getting it taken care of months later.I am not happy with Dr. Burch.

This doctor ignored all abnormal results on bloodwork, told patient they were compulsive for bringing in medical records and reports, and dismissed all data and ignored the patient's symptoms and concerns. At the same time doctor patronized patient, spoke down to her, and made no effort to work collaboratively to solve medical condition. Doc does not care for women in their fourties who may have knoweldge of own body and be able to advocate for self. It was a four hour trip round trip and a waste of patient's time.

Dr.Burch is a wonderful caring Doctor. He is very professional and I trust him explicitly. He has helped me tremendously over the years and I would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my family and friends and, as a matter of fact, I have done just this. Great doctor and in my opinion, Duke is very fortunate to have him on their staff.
