Wonderful clinic with experienced doctors and staff who are passionate . They are the best at what they do.

After researching my options I decided to visit dr herns office. To be honest the procedure was an uncomfortable and frightening experience. And when I called the office for a follow up to talk about counselling options they said that it wasn't their area of practice. So now I am looking g for professional help dealing with PASS (post abortion stress syndrome). Its awful I dont wish this upon anyone.

If you have a baby that has severe birth defects and you don’t want it to live in pain, Dr. Hern will help make sure your baby doesn’t suffer. When all other doctors turn their backs on you when your baby has fatal abnormalities and the pregnancy brings complicated risks to you, Dr. Hern won’t. He’s extremely educated and cares about women’s rights. You will be safe going to the clinic. They truly help you during an impossible time. He will go above and beyond for your healthcare. He’s an amazing human. If you go to the clinic, just know there are many women who have walked this path before you. We are with you.

I honestly felt like no one was actually listening to me the whole time. I would ask a question and get a short, annoyed response. The procedure was uncomfortable, and dr hern didnt make an effort to set my mind at ease. I am plagued by memories of this experience. I'm currently seeking where I can go for treatment for PASS. Thanks for nothing dr hern...

Finding out that your unborn child has a severe birth defect is not an easy situation. you go threw so many emotions. Having to make the painful choice to end the pregnancy is not easy. Dr.Hern is the best doctor in this business. He & his staff are beyond wonderful they are caring & compassionate they answer all your questions they make sure your okay. I would never wish this on anyone but if you do find yourself in this situation Dr.Hern is the best option. Thank you for helping us in this horrible time of our lives.thank you

I went to Dr Hern's clinic for a late term abortion. I flew all the way from California, booked a hotel close by and braved a blizzard only to meet with a very rude and paranoid doctor who scolded me for wearing lipstick to his clinic as it was against the clinic rules. Dumbfounded I explained nobody had instructed me otherwise but he refused to believe me and went off on a rant. "When you put your life in my hands, you better be careful about doing as I say" . He was very unpleasant in his demeanor and although I can understand his paranoia given the amount of death threats and security risks he has had to face, I think he could have still been nicer in his bedside manner. His tone was just very condescending and suspicious so I didn't feel comfortable in his care and opted out.

Dr Hern and his staff are amazing. My husband and I had a planned pregnancy and we found out that our baby had a severe birth defect at 22 weeks. It was illegal to get an abortion in our home state that late into the pregnancy. Dr Hern was able to get us in for an appointment and perform the abortion right away. His staff was caring and understanding through the entire procedure. As awful as it was, I am so happy to have gone to Dr Hern to have it done. I have had no medical issues as a result of th abortion because of Dr Hern's expertise.
