Dr. Warren E Murray Jr has the following 1 specialty
- Internal Medicine
An internist is a physician who focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions that affect the adult population—both acute and chronic.
These doctors are often who adults see as their primary physicians because they treat a broad range of illnesses that do not require surgical or specialist interventions. They also work to help a patient maintain optimal health in order to prevent the onset of disease.
In addition to treating the common cold and flu, internists also treat chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease.
- Weight Loss

My husband and I went to Dr. Murray for 15 years. We should have left him much earlier. He presents a pleasant, kind bedside manner, but only for well-patient visits. If there is something wrong he has no idea what to do. I told him I thought I had pneumonia and he told me to come back in four days. I immediately went to Urgent Care and I DID have pneumonia. After an auto accident, he refused to see me telling me to go to Urgent Care. My husband was in a nursing home for eight months and he never once went by to check on him. He was of no use to us in any way. He sits, smiles and talks and that is all. I have since gone to a fine doctor who has changed my prescriptions and helped me in every way. Dr. Murray is a nice man, but that is all I can say about him.
I must say that this review did concern me on a number of levels. One if the patient and I had this long relationship the patient did not trust me enough to present concerns to me so we can discuss it and afford me an opportunity to address her concerns or help to take corrective measures needed. With respect to being directed to Urgent Care, several years ago we hired a mid-level provider to see our call-ins when our schedules are full. Thus my staff should have given you an appointment the day you became ill and asked to be seen. I apologize if that did not occur. Unfortunately this is the first I have learned of your concern and I do not have a name or date to look into this matter. If the patient had given me an opportunity to address her concerns about not taking care of her husband in the Nursing Home, I would have been able to inform her that I stopped managing nursing home patients several years ago given the increased regulations, paperwork, and time that it took me away from the office. All nursing homes have a managing doctor and mid-level on site to administer care. If I was afforded the opportunity to address the patient's concern about not being seen in my office after a motor vehicle accident, I would have been able to inform the patient that it is NBIMS policy not to perform initial assessments on motor vehicle accidents due my partners and my concern regarding our training in trauma management as well as legal implications associated with motor vehicle accidents. I value my relationships with my patients and I treat them the way I would want my family members treated and would hope if there were concerns while under my care that they would trust me enough to speak to me regarding their concerns first rather than leaving our doctor-patient relationship and electing to express their concerns publicly in this format without even the courtesy of listing their names so I could have reviewed the chart to learn what mistakes may have been made to prevent this in the future.
Pro-active, pragmatic, empathetic,kind.
