Dr. Brearly rocks! One of the most sincerely caring and honest physicians I have ever had operate on me.

I was a pt of his at CCHS and after 3 days of thinking I was a "drug seeker" he discharged me with the hospital with no diagnosis even though I was still in agaonizing pain. This was something that needed to be dealt with on an outpatient basis. This was on a Friday, the next Monday I saw my PCP who said I should see a general surgeon....didnt I just do that?!?!?! By Wednesday I was in an operating room having 3 hernias repaired that were on the CT read by Dr Brearly but never discussed. I was very close to having a perforated bowel and being very, very sick. This is a disgrace....all beacause he didnt take the time to get know me as a patient!

Dr Brearley missed a tendon tear in my son's wrist on an MRI. My son went a full year with pain, seeing several different specialists, going to physical therapy because of this oversight. Finally another doctor read the same MRI and immediately saw the tear. Very unfortunate.
