Dr. Wei Huang, MD

I cannot recommend Dr. Wei Huang and the team at CEENTA highly enough. I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Huang, which presented a unique challenge: I had LASIK roughly 35 years ago, and none of my original surgical records were available. Despite the complexity of calculating the correct lens power without historical data, Dr. Huang navigated the procedure with remarkable expertise, thoroughness, and care. The surgery was a complete success, and my vision is clear once again. If you need cataract surgery—especially if you have a complex previous surgical history—Dr. Huang is an extraordinary, trustworthy surgeon.

I have one good and one not so good eye. She instilled confidence to proceed with cataract surgery in both my eyes with her experience and expertise! She is at the top of her profession.

She needs bed side manner like Saying hi when you see someone and much more basic manner Show some compassion. Called in 40 mins late for appointment. Her job is to educate about surgery process and and explain the prognosis but none happened on the visit. Waist of time and money!communication is very poor. I suggest her to improve her communication skills and show patients that she cares.This is medical facility not retail store. Won’t be coming here again thanks to her.

I recently had cataract surgery with Dr Huang. I upgraded to a trifocal lens implant. I couldn’t be more happier! I haven’t needed glasses since surgery for anything! This is first time since I was in kindergarten I am totally glasses independent. Best gift for year of 2020! I couldn’t thank Dr Huang enough!

I have been seeing Dr. Huang for 2 years - first for cataract surgery and followup for other eye issues that come along with aging. Her ability to explain and help me understand about various eye conditions and treatments has been top notch and the staff in her office have not only been efficient and friendly, but have easily accommodated my communication deficits from hearing loss as well. I have been a patient of Dr Huang for 4 years. I was referred to her because of my glaucoma was out off control. She did a laser to lower my eye pressure. She is excellent and genuinely care about patients. I am moving to Wilmington next month. I might have to travel back couple times a year to get my glaucoma checked.

My mom had cataract surgery with Dr Huang recently. It has been a life changing experience for us! Mom is 80 years old and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease with dementia and personality change. In the past year we all noticed that mom’s dementia deteriorated and barely communicate with us. We were told by her previous eye doctor that she has bad cataract but it might not worth surgery given mom’s mental condition and likelihood of complications. My neighbor then referred us to Dr Huang. We couldn’t be happier with her! The afternoon after mom’s surgery she started talk to us! The surgery not only made mom see better it definitely improved her cognitive function! Dr Huang is extremely patient and passionate! She is a miracle worker! I recommend her to anyone!

Just completed my 2nd cataract surgery in just two weeks. Dr. Huang provided me with excellent care. I was not nervous at all. I am extremely pleased by the outcome and would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone. She is a true professional in every sense of the word.

Dr. Huang recently completed my second cataract surgery. My procedure was more complicated due to having previous lasik eye surgery. I am so happy with my results...I can see again! My distance vision is 20/20 and I only need a mild strength glasses for reading. I am so thankful to Dr. Huang and her gift for healing.
