Dr Pietz is very low key and exudes confidence which relaxes you. The experience was relatively pain free. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing her services. I don't want to forget mentioning her excellent and professional staff. It was quick getting an appointment and being seen in a timely fashion. Thank you all!

This is long-overdue praise for Dr. Wendy Pietz, who removed all my wisdom teeth 6 months ago. In short, you would be hard-pressed to find a better oral surgeon. I needed the surgery urgently due to a sudden gum infection around one of the wisdom teeth, and she fit me in within a WEEK of first contacting her, including a pre-operative assessment visit. (Compare this to other practices, where I was lucky to be offered an appointment within a MONTH.) She answered all my questions at length, and had great rapport with me. Her staff is kind and helpful as well. I felt the operative pain was quite manageable with local anesthetic only. This speaks to her skill, as I had big wisdom teeth - two of which were impacted - that were all tough to remove. However, she does offer nitrous oxide and even IV sedation if you prefer. I also barely needed the pain medication she prescribed for recovery; Tylenol and ibuprofen alone were sufficient after only a day or two following the surgery. She provided… excellent instructions for recovery and was very accessible by phone afterwards to answer questions, thanks to which I never developed dry socket or any other complications. To top it all off, I didn't even have dental insurance at the time, but she was perfectly willing to accept a CareCredit account (short-term healthcare loan) that I was able to get to cover the expense. Regarding the price itself, I felt it was very reasonable and well within the price range I had read to expect. 6 months later, my mouth is in great shape - no more infections, my gums are healthier in general, and I don't get anymore toothaches from my once-impacted wisdom teeth! I would not hesitate to go to her again in the future if I needed to for any reason.

I highly recommend Dr. Pietz if you need an oral surgeon.

Dr. Pietz is a terrific doctor. She explains all the procedures and takes the time to make sure that you understand what she is about to do . She also explains all of your choices which I really liked. Very personable, and even though I had a difficult extraction she did a great job

My 11 year old daughter had some impacted teeth exposed by Dr. Pietz. There were some scheduling glitches with the initial consultation appointment but the staff worked with me to make the reschedule as convenient as possible. Things were smooth sailing after that. Dr. Pietz was very warm and caring and took lots of time to make sure my daughter and I were informed about and comfortable with the procedure. All the staff members were extremely hospitable and made sure we understood everything before leaving the office. They called us later that day to check on the patient, which was a great touch. I would definitely recommend Dr. Pietz to others looking for a top notch oral surgeon!
