Dr. Wendy Verstandig Sapolsky, MD

My oldest child is 14yrs old and Dr. Wendy has been my family pediatrician since my child was 2 days old. I have two other children ages 11 and 8 and they see her as well. My son has had some of the strangest medical issues and she always gets to the bottom of it. She is not one of those doctors that sends you home with a bunch of meds, only to have you come back for more testing. She would rather send you to the children's hospital and get every test done at once in order to get to the bottom of helping your child feel better. She caught walking pneumonia my 8yr old recently had, got her on the right i.v. meds while in the hospital and she was able to go home in two days. She is simply a blessing to Duval county and my family loves her dearly. I would pay higher health plan costs as long as she is a doctor covered under the plan.
