Dr Westfield - excellent in every way....in listening, discussing the issue, and suggesting treatment. Could not have wished for a better first time meeting. Most cordial in the extreme.....grateful for the experience.

This review is on behalf of my mom, who suffered colon cancer a few months ago. Dr.Heartfield is my mom’s lifesaver. After he performed her bowel surgery, she has returned to my normal life in about one month now. She is very grateful that Dr.Heartfield did his best to save her life. When she saw him for the first time, he told her in detail about condition and the operation plan he would perform. He really made her at ease and she felt he was so kind and friendly that she can trust him . After the operation, during my hospital stay, he came to visit my mom every day and kept in close contact with me, telling in detail about my mom’s condition. Thanks, Dr.Heartfield! When I first met Dr Heartfield I had a hard time liking his way of treating my medical issue but when I saw him again I realized he was a wonderful Dr and so kindhearted! He performed 3 surgeries on me and all successful. He made hospital visits everyday I was there and always made me feel like I was his special patient!! Sadly to say my insurance has changed and I can no longer see him. He has asked me to keep him posted on my health and to see him once a year! Thank you Dr Heartfield

No compassion..I asked what is the cause of getting fistula? His reply was ' you're just unlucky '.. was aggressive. Nurse assisting was compassionate.

After the superior treatment from the staff and from Dr Heartfield, I felt it was necessary to acknowledge the quality of service and attention given to me. From diagnosis to surgery to follow up- superior in every way.

After I had my baby I developed the WORST case of hemorrhoids. I didn't want to do anything about them - who wants to show your bottom to someone you don' t know? Thank goodness my ob/gyn sent me to Dr. Heartfield. His staff was really great and when I met the doctor he really put me at ease. The procedure was done in the office - I can't say it was painless, but it really wasn't too bad at all. And now I feel a thousand times better. I would go back to Dr. Heartfield if I had another problem. He really cares about you.

I can honestly say that Dr. Heartfield has improved my life so much, and I'm grateful everyday that I decided to go ahead with the surgery. Dr. Heartfield did a stellar job, and I've had no problems ever since my surgery about 5 months ago. Hemorroids is definitley not a pleasant problem to have, and I struggled with it for at least 2 and a half years. I thought the treatment/surgery would be extremely painful and take a long time to recover from. I guess every case is different, but I was out of commission for about 3 days (minimal discomfort with the help of some prescribed drugs!), and then everything was pretty much back to normal. So so so so thankful for the surgery.
