Dr. Wesley Gunther Saher, DO

Do not let this man take care of elderly parents! his knowledge of drugs and prescribing medicines in combination is dangerously lacking. He does not cooperate with fellow doctors on patient cases. Saher uses medicines that are contraindicated and dangerous for patients, all in the name of practicing medicine. if you care about yourself and other family members, find another physician. Franklin may be a small town but there are better doctors than Wesley Saher.

Please think long and hard before seeing Saher. He has the ability to be rude and self-righteous. He experiments with medicines and ignores the advice of other doctors. Saher casually prescribes combinations of drugs despite watrnings to the contrary. Would not recommend him to anyone I care about, especially the elderly.

Dr. Saher has the ability to put even the most frightened patients at ease. He relates to his patients and spends as much time as is needed to ensure they understand diagnoses and treatment plan. He acts as a partner in the patients' health care. LOVE him : ) He also stays current on research on diseases that his patients are dealing with, isn't afraid to manage things from diabetes to cardiovascular care, but will refer out for anything beyond his knowledge. I've found he treats diabetes and me better than my current endocrinologist.

Dr. Saher's bedside manners is the best I have seen in MANY MANY years. Mybe he should give classes on great bedside manner. Dr. Saher spends a great deal of quality time with me and he listens very well to what I am saying ,I do not feel rushed.I drive a over 50 miles to see him. He is worth the drive. DR. SAHER REALLY CARES ABOUT HIS PATIANCES, YOU DON'T SEE THAT MUCH ANYMORE, YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE CATTLE BEING HURDED IN AND OUT.

Have gone to Dr. Saher for 2 years now and he is the best doctor I have been to in a very long time. He is easy to talk to and down to earth and listens well. I recommend him HIGHLY!
