I worked with Dr. Auriemma during his residency at Episcopal Hospital in Phila, PA...He earned the coveted, "Chief Surgery Resident" position...I knew Dr. Auriemma would be destined for a stellar career in surgery...He extracted a glass splinter from my hand, one day...an ultra-fine surgeon and a true credit to his profession...Ray M., Phila.

This is a Doctor who you can really trust, and who also really cares. He saved my husbands life many years ago with colon cancer, and a year later he did surgery on me after 3 and half years of others doctors not finding my problem. He is our hero

Dr. Auriemma is one of the best doctors, as well as one of the best people, I have ever met. He saw me through a two year battle with multiple complicated fistula, blockages and impactions. He is both knowledgeable and relatable and truly makes his patiences feeling assured and calm. He began working with me even when I didn't have insurance and never once allowed my insurance coverage, or lack there of, effect the course of action he took to treat my condition. He genuinely is in practice to help people. His vast surgical knowledge, combined with his compassion and dedication, make him a true asset to the NEPA area. If not for him I'm certain I would have had to travel far and wide to receive the level of care I experienced with him and his staff. Truly an example of an answered prayer.

I felt safe with Dr. Auriemma because he was knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to explain in detail the surgery I needed, why I needed it, the possibilities of what he might also find upon the surgery and the plan forward. He also gave a sound followup. I couldn't ask for a more friendly and compassionate staff. as well

the recovery rate after a major surgery was suppose to be 3-4 mos. didn't recover until a full year. the surgery was suppose to be 2-3 hours but lasted over 14 hours!!

I go into the exam room to which I'm told a student would be in. I told her she must be joking as my nerves were already high, but the staff member never asked for my permission nor gave me a choice. I'm 30 yrs old & I never knew I had an option to say NO! Hindsight right. Well in comes the student obviously in my age bracket trying to wipe the smirk off (yes I said smirk!) he was very kind & I understand he has to learn, but please?! Well now here comes dr. Auriemma to where the awkward meter rose to a level of pure immaturity & absolute humility! I felt like I was in a room with 2 boys who were looking at a female for the first time?! That's the only way I can describe it as they both couldn't wipe the smirks off their faces. He tells me I had a "fissure" & shows me a paper with a picture of a fissure & literature. At this point there is giggling between the two & he continues the degrading by saying "this is a picture if you" THANKS DR! MADE ME FEEL SO MUCH BETTER?! I left with… his cream that did NOTHING cuz I later found out he misdiagnosed me!!! I was to go back in 3 months, but I had so much anxiety I thought I'd have a panic attack upon site of him. Luckily I found another dr via this website. Dr. Auriemma grow up. Maybe you were trying to be "cool" in front of the student with your remarks & high school demeanor, but your patients are human beings. I only wish you a better dr than you were to me if you are ever in my position one day.

Was very apprehensive about getting a colonoscopy. However, both Dr. Auriemma and the medical staff at their Adams Avenue location are superb. From the anesthetist, to the nurse, to the receptionist, EVERYONE was so accommodating and caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Auriemma and the surgical unit at Adams avenue, it's a FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE. And I thank them for caring so much for their patients.

Dr Auriemma and his staff are very caring He is the kind of doctor who gives his all . He keeps up with technology and really knows what he is doing .I am recuperating from a very long complicated surgery that he did last thurs on me . I thank GOD he is so dedicated to his patients and so good at what he does and I would trust no other doctor with my life . I thank him again as well as Kim and Donna
