Dr. William Robert Balsom III, MD

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Balsom. He is a thoughtful, thorough and compassionate physician. He listens carefully and makes a special effort to explain the medical condition and treatment so that you can understand. We are both seniors and my husband has complex medical issues. Recently a new specialist prescribed a medication for my husband. Once he had talked with Dr. Balsom, he understood why the new medication would be helpful and started taking it.

Good doctor who doesn't mind questions and really listens.

It has been so comforting to have a Doctor like Dr. Balsom watching over my father who is 91 yo. He spends the time to actually gather the info he needs to correctly diagnose my father. He explains his care to him so that he can understand it so he can better follow through. I'm a nurse and it hasn't always been this way, again very comforting to have such a good doctor who actually takes the time to care.

I have a long term relationship as Dr. Balsom's patient. He has always treated me with respect, answers any questions I have, and explains symptoms, illnesses, treatments, etc to me.

Been a patient for over 10 years and have never felt like I was being rushed or receiving anything less than top-notch care. Bill is smart and compassionate, and answers my many questions without talking down to me. Perhaps the most important measure of Bill's expertise is that, at 58, I am as healthy as ever!
