Dr. William J Baylis, DO

My husband had to have outpatient surgery. We live in the southwest suburbs where there are two major hospitals. We picked Dr. Baylis because he is next door to Silver Cross. We were told at the time that we scheduled the appt. that he would do surgery there, if needed. After we saw him, we were told that he only does surgery out of Advocate Christ in Oak Lawn. We moved from that area over 20 years ago. It is frustrating to have to travel to that hospital when we have 2 others locally, and he is listed on staff of the other two hospitals. Wish he would take that into consideration for patients located in the far southwest suburbs. Other than that, we would recommend him for hand surgery. Thanks!

Charged over $500 for one office visit and a shot. Total time spent during office visit from Baylis was less than 5 minutes. Shot didn't work. Waste of money and time.

I had knee surgery. It was successful. The only concern I have is an extremely short visit. I feel like I'm rushed with no time to ask questions for clarity. This is not a good feeling. ð???

Dr. Baylis and his staff did a top notch job. Only wish I hadn't waited so long.As he told me it would be a piece of cake and it was. I had full mobility of my fingers the evening of the surgery which was at 6:30 am. I iced and wiggled my fingers constantly the first day and only had to take five Tylenol 3 in a 3-day period after surgery. Am looking forward to having my right hand done in the near future.Again, kudos to Dr. Baylis.

Dr. Baylis is an excellent doctor. He has has great bedside manner! I highly recommend him!
