Dr. William Carvel Woodall, MD

Horrible dismissive dr, and his nurse, kathy is hateful. He discounted everything about my MRI to the point my dr that did my injections discussed how much he didnt like his unprofessional behavior. It took 2 hours for my MRI to get to my dr that was doing my back injections also. He argued with me saying the MRI was not correct and that the radiologist was wrong but he said he would do a nerve stimulator in my back?! What the crap, nothing is wrong with me but youd put something in my back? Mind you this was my first visit. Also when I requested my EMG notes when I opened them from the mail there were hateful comments per Dr Woodall or his nurse. If I request my notes from an outside test then I should just gotten those notes with no extra comments from Dr Woodall, especially hateful comments. I will not return to this hateful dr. I hope this dr and his horrible hateful snide remarking nurse deal with similar nurses and drs in their future so they can see how hateful they really are.

I was impressed with the level of caring exhibited by Dr. Woodall in addition to his surgical skills.

I am not sure I would be walking around without this amazing man and his very responsive staff! 5 plus stars for me!!

I feel very comfortable with Dr Woodall all the way around I would definitely recommend him You do need a referral for appointments and be prepared to wait. Definitely worth the wait if you can. He is very conservative in his treatment which is great

Dr. Woodall is without a doubt the best nuerosurgeon in the world as far as I am concerned. He is awesome at his specialty, the kindest bedside manner and just over all wonderful doctor. He did a neck fusion on me in the 1990s and I have never had any trouble since. I have recommended many people to him!

I would recommend Dr. William Woodall, III to any one experiencing back pain. He knows what he is doing and he cares that you receive the very best of care. I had 6 surgeries one at a time and I can truthfully say that I appreciate Dr. Woodall for the way he explained what was going on with me , what he could do to help and he carried through with exactly what he said. He was there for me in the hospital if I had to stay over, he checked with me by telephone when home and made time for me if I needed him in the offices. I deeply appreciate this fine doctor and his excellent care of all his patients.

Dr. Woodall is an exceptional doctor. He is discerning and careful about when to operate. He helped me postpone my surgery until it became absolutely necessary. Fantastic results!

I had a severely herniated disk in my back, it had gotten to the point that I could no longer walk. I was in constant excruciating pain and in a wheel chair. My Neurosurgeon in Montgomery refused to do surgery and left me suffering in agony. My wonderful chiropractor Dr. Hughes was very caring to me and very disappointed that he could not help my pain and he asked me to go and see Dr. Woodall and finally I took his advice and did that and thank GOD I did because I saw Dr. Woodall on Wednesday around 4:00pm and he scheduled my surgery for 6:30am the following morning. Dr. Woodall was my salvation he is kind and caring and in my opinion the best surgeon in the world. After the surgery I recovered in record time and have been in zero pain since then. I was able to take the trip of a lifetime one month after surgery to Europe and walk over five miles a day while there for a month!THANKS DR. WOODALL and thanks also to his fantastic and caring office staff! St. Vincent Hospital also… gets top marks in my book! I can never thank them all enough! May God Bless Dr. Woodall and his staff!!!!!
