I waited 10 months to see this guy, hopeful I'd finally have someone somewhat local to take over my pain control. I had 10 years of well documented history and tried EVERYTHING. In the end, the only effective thing for me was opiates. I've never misused them. He met with me for about 5 min. and told me there was basically nothing wrong with me (basing this stmt. on nothing)and gave me nutrition informaton and that was that. Sadly, he gets paid to practice medicine like a carnival worker. Very arrogant. No compassion.

A wonderful Doctor. I've seen a lot of doctors for my pain. This doctor is great, he cares and is very thorough

I have suffered with chronic pain for three years now. The only thing that works for my severe pain is opiates sadly. When I saw Dr. Dicks, he would not prescribe pain medication. I figured he knew his stuff so I did not argue. A week later I was on bed rest and in agony with severe pain. Still after several calls, he refused pain medication. I have never displayed drug-seeking behavior of any kind. He does not care about how much pain you are in unless you are a cancer patient.

Dr Dicks knows his stuff. It is up to the patirent these days to be advocating for them self. The person who thought his mother acted strangly on clonazepam should go with her to the next visit or cantact the doctor to explain what you are seeing, A doctor can only treat what he sees and the patient tells them. Be procative on your own and mothers behalf. Lert him know you do not understand what and why he prescribed what he did. Work with him. Doctors can't read your mind. hE HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY CONSCIENTIOUS

this Dr. is by far the most risk taking expermental person i have heard of he is treating my mother with clonipin and she acts like she don't even know who she is it scares me everyday, he needs to be more mindfull how he treats is patients or someone should check his creidentials i think something is not right with this one BE WARNED AND STAY AWAY!

I have never seen a quack like this Dr. in all my life. It is past the point of ridiculous. I feel sorry for the people in Bemidji. There is no other Dr. to see up there,so they are stuck with bad care.
