Dr William Doscher

We went to Dr. Doscher and called me fat and I have a bad review what the doctor said he was not being very nice to me and kept saying he did not know what to do for me and said that I am really fat and said he can't help me because he does not know what was wrong and made fun of me.

Dr. Doscher did one good thing. He looked at my legs and saw I had lymphedema which I was told by two other vascular doctors. This disease fills you with lymphatic fluid and has fat cells build in different parts of your body. .....either slowly or quickly. I had been trying to 10 years to see why I was getting swollen and gaining weight. I had thin and ate a lot. Now I am size 18 and eat very little protein, mainly small portions of veggies and some fruit. He called me Morbidly Obese. Forgetting that I am overweight-- but NOT morbidly obese this took my self esteem all the way down. He would NOT stop calling me that. VERY unprofessional. He can diagnose this disease- but knows nothing about it. He accused me of sneak eating and said he could not stop calling me Morbidly Obese. I have NEVER had an experience like this. My husband spoke to him and he kept insulting me. I have many doctors I adore and honestly I have never had an experience like this. Since then my self esteem has… gone down. I have an appt with a doctor who actually specializes in lymphedema. Every doctor I told this experience to was shocked. NO doctor has the right to degrade a patient.

I saw Dr. D in an emregency hospital setting. He was very thorough. After emergency surgery by another physician, he recognized a problem and took me back to the OR and fixed the problem. He explained what he did and why and his bedside manner was good. I liked him and would recommend him to my family or friends.
