Dr. William Fredrick Cunningham, MD

Dr. Cunningham treated me for breast cancer in 2012/2013 and was always eager to hear my thoughts and ideas and answered questions thoroughly. He and his team saved my life! He retired a year or two ago but Oncology Hematology Associates in Springfield, MO, is still rocking! You can't go wrong choosing any of the doctors there.

My 94 year old mother was recently diagnosed with metastic breast cancer. It is now the 5th week we all have been living with uncertainty about the treatment and the prognosis. It takes over a week to have a scan scheduled and another week to be called with the results. It is Extremely stressful for patient and family not knowing. This morning she was finally called by a nurse. There is metastatic disease in 5 areas. She was offered a liver biopsy in another week. There was no counseling as to why this would be helpful. She was only told that she’d lived longer than most. I have so far at this moment waited 22 minutes on hold -no background music, no option to leave a message, I am connected as my phone is counting the seconds.

Dr Wm Cunningham is one of the most caring doctors I have ever experienced in my life. He is truly a healer who cares about his patients.
