Dr. William Randolph Fly

Dr. Fly is rude, won't listen to issues post surgery. He failed terribly with my surgery. I had all sorts of post surgery issues to the point physical therapy was asking me had I contacted my doctor. They were concerned and it was obvious they knew the entire problem had not been corrected when Dr. Fly performed my surgery. Dr. Fly has no professional personality at all. He obviously will not listen and doesn't want to accept the responsibility for realizing he didn't correct all of my problem. The staff is and treats you like you are a moron who is complaining without justification. I honestly had the feeling they talk and make fun of patients. The nurse or assistant who enters info in to the computer during the visit with Dr. Fly rolled her eyes when I was trying to explain to Dr. Fly one of the problems hadn't been corrected and that PT was constantly asking me if I had called my doctor. I am surprised KOC allows him to stay in their practice. I have several… friends and family who had KOC surgeons but used doctors/surgery in Knoxville. They all had excellent results, moved back to a normal life and were treated with respect from all office staff and medical staff. Dr. Fly is a poor excuse of a surgeon. It has been 2 years since I had my surgery and people are constantly saying I thought you got that fixed and it's quiet visible to everyone the problem wasn't fixed. I will not ever recommend this man to anyone. I don't know if the office staff has improved or if the same nurse/assistant remains. If they do they certainly need training in how to have a professional attitude. Apparently they don't understand Dr. Fly is a joke and that patients are there for a reason and that is to fix the problem. The best recommendation I have is KOC needs to find a better doctor for the Jefferson City location. Dr. Fly hurts the group's professional name.

He was rude and would not listen to any of my input regarding my Orthopedic problem. I have talked with several other patients of Fly's and they had similar experiences.

Recently moved from Tennessee and leaving Dr. Fly is one of the negatives of the move. Being a 76 year old with many medical problems, it helped so much to have such a caring gentleman to understand and do everything possible for me to deal with on-going pain. I recommend him for any age as he will go the "extra mile" to help you.
