Can't say enough good things about Dr. Foutz and his staff. They're great.

Dr. Foutz is caring and educated, he explains things well and is complete.

I am a physician board-certified in emergency medicine and internal medicine. I was an emergency room director for 17 years and I am now the chief medical officer of a healthcare company. I have hired literally hundreds of physicians in my career. I have no professional relationship with Dr. Foutz and we not practice in the same communities. In other words, he is my personal physician only. All that said, he is the real deal. He takes an excellent history, makes a focused and appropriate physical exam, and formulates a comprehensive "differential" (the list of things that might cause your symptoms). He uses labs and other tests appropriately. Dr. Foutz prescribes judiciously. He spends an appropriate amount of time in his evaluation and explanations. His assistant, April, is very helpful. Follow-up after the visit with lab, test results and changes in the plan have been prompt. Dr. Foutz is a little dry, but he does have a sense of humor. When I moved to the Vail Valley I was… very apprehensive about finding a good physician - Dr. Foutz has fit the bill.
