Dr. William Justice Fry, MD

Dr. Fry is knowledgeable enough. He absolutely has no bedside manner and does not listen well to his patients.

It is hard to find a doctor who is extremely smart and yet has an excellent bedside manner. Dr. Fry fills the bill perfectly. My wife and I both changed over to him when our doctor moved a good distance farther away in Knoxville. He is a Godsend. We trust him completely. He found a serious life threatening heart issue with me which had gone on for years. Our previous doctor ignored my complaints. Thank God for him for listening to me and diagnosing a heart condition which needed immediate life-saving surgical intervention. I would not be here if not for him. He is the BEST!

Dr. Fry was my sister's doctor for several years. If there was a minus option in the overall rating, I would choose that! Three months ago, we lost my sister to uterine cancer. Why? Because Dr. Fry never paid attention to the symptons she constantly told him about. His response was, "You need to lose weight". Yes, my sister needed to lose weight but that was not the major problem. On her last visit to see him, he walked into the office, sat down at his computer, and said, "You need to lose weight". Her family ended up taking her across the street to the hospital where she was diagnosed with uterine cancer that had spread throughout her body...even her lungs had folded from the pressure on other organs! She went through 3 painful fluid drains of her lungs - the last drain resulted in 5 liters of fluid from her lungs. She died less than 2 weeks later. She had constantly complained of breathing problems, pain in certain areas of her body, and other symptoms. If only Dr. Fry would… have taken the time to listen--really listen. I pray that no other patient of his will go through the painful loss that our family has dealt with, a loss that is heartbreaking to our family and her many friends.

I have 3 boys that have seen Dr Fry since they were born and I can't say enough great things about him. His staff is amazing too! We love nurse Kelly:)!
