Dr. William Howard Vetter, MD

Spent the first five minutes with someone else's chart.

When I first moved to Emmett, Idaho and was seeking a physician in the area. I made an appointment to meet Vetter and was so extremely unimpressed by his lack of compassion towards me. Lucky for me I found an awesome doctor here, Dr. Jennifer Petrie! Maybe Vetter should ask himself why his rating is so low?

nothing you say matters- you are an imbicile.Stay far away. Quack of highest degree. Thinks he can do it all.

He was courteous and friendly without being patronizing. He listened and reassured me nothing was wrong, but that we could do some things (physical therapy) to help with balance issues that occur as we get older. I think he's a very good doctor.

He is rude and arrogant. Thinks he is better than many other physicians He is very insecure and abrasive. Cares more about himself than he does his patients

Though I liked the promptness and follow-up, there was much more to be desired in a doctor. I like to be treated with respect, having my opinions as valued rather than scoffed at. Dr. Vetter is the type that will scoff at your ideas and not even look into the possibilities of the patient being right. Most of his solutions involve prescribing medicine for everything. I prefer a Dr. That'll resolve the problem within the first visit rather than having to come back for another piece of the puzzle. I don't feel that he truly figures the problem out to remedy it. He seems to know it all, even though he misdiagnosed you over and over again.

I have been seeing Dr. Vetter for years. He is open and honest and tells it like it is. I wouldn't think of changing.

I have always had tremendous respect for Dr. Vetter; he's thoughtful and accurate and I trust him and his diagnoses. I have noticed over the last couple of years that he is making a real effort to be personable with me as a patient, too. I think he's great.

worst bedside manner i have ever experienced. Most people in town know of him, and have had very similar, if not worse experiences. Flipant comments and not interested in what the actual patient may have to say. Prima Donna attitude. I would drive anywhere else if he was the only available doctor in an emergency.
