Dr. William Warren has the following 2 specialties
- Vascular Surgery
Vascular surgeons treat and manage disorders in your veins, arteries and your lymphatic system to ensure blood circulation in your heart and in brain is the best it can be. They're well-versed on how your vascular system works with the rest of your body and they can treat conditions that may cause blockages or buildup.
They can perform many of the same diagnostic testing as interventional radiologists can, such as angiography and MRIs. In addition to diagnosis, they provide critical care and treatment for aneurysms, artery blockages and trauma injuries that involve your veins. They can also help patients manage diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol as well as treat artery disease. Treatment for more serious cases might include bypass surgery or surgery to remove plaque.
- Thoracic Surgery
If you need surgery to treat a complication in your chest, which includes your lungs, esophagus, diaphragm and heart, your doctor will refer you to a thoracic surgeon. They’re trained to offer surgical treatment for tumors and abnormalities in these areas as well as respiratory and heart conditions like lung cancer, heart disease and diseases in the diaphragm.
Thoracic surgeons are similar to heart surgeons, except they have additional training in the entire cardiorespiratory system and in how your blood vessels work with your lungs and airways. They’re also trained on catheters used in the chest, as well as cardiac and respiratory support systems that might be part of your treatment plan.

He used me as a guinea pig. Not enough room here to tell my story, but he was a con artist by building my trust, acting like a concerned doctor, then doing a surgery that unbeknownst to me, had never been done before. Major mistake. Never wanted to see me again for a follow up visit. Never ending nightmare.
Unfortunately this review comes from the daughter of a deceased patient. My father had mesothelioma, went in for a surgery from Dr Warren. After hours of surgery, he was responsive. I was hoping for a good outcome. The next day he was unresponsive. All I was told was that an infection took over his body. And he passed away a couple of days later. I am now in the medical field because I never received the answers I needed. After trying to speak with the Dr I was told that he was only in charge of the surgery and other Drs took over. I have come to find out that he passed away from an HAI (hospital associated infection). Please please please do not see this doctor for any surgery. I really regret having my father go through with it he would've still been alive.
I had an undiagnosed throat condition, which I had since birth, and after was lucky to be referred to Dr. Warren. He took such time and care with my case, discussed options with me and we opted for the least aggressive method of treatment. The surgery was quick, and I was back at work a day later. Dr. Warren was incredibly careful, thoughtful and had a wonderful bedside manner. He is a wonderful doctor and person, and I now have a tremendously better quality of life as a result of his care and attention. I have been back for follow up appointments, and have had no problem getting right in at my appointment time. His staff is professional, warm and wonderful. I feel tremendously lucky to have had the opportunity to visit this doctor and his office.
Reading some of these other reviews, it shocks me to even see any negativity about Dr. Warren. Diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Doctor Warren explained to me everything that I needed to know to help impact my decision on surgery, which I was already near certain about doing. Had the first rib resection and a week later I have complete use of my arm, nearly no pain, and with the exception of no picking up more than 10 lbs I am doing phenomenal. This man solved much physical and emotional damage with this one operation, and there is no doubt in my mind it made him a quite happy seeing the success. A compassionate and skilled surgeon, I recommend him any day.
