Dr. William A Junglas, MD

My 82-year-old grandma had hip surgery yesterday morning. My mother and I were so impressed with Dr. Junglas and the team! We were a ball of nerves and they helped us calm down and trust the process. Post op, the doctor went above and beyond and even called my mom from my grandma's cell phone since she doesn't speak English to let her know that the surgery went well. The world needs more doctors like these! People that truly care and truly are passionate about helping others! When the doctor spoke to us the morning of surgery he told us that he will take good care of my grandma as he was to do for his family member! Wow! Thank you so much doctor and the team for all that you have done!!! We are grateful! Grandma is doing well and the pain is under control due to a new procedure where they do an anesthesia injection in the hip that lasts a few days after surgery! She has lesser pain/feels better than a few years ago when she did her other hip surgery with a different surgeon… there! If you want somebody trustworthy and amazing choose Dr. Junglas!! THANK YOU!

Thanks to his skill as a surgeon, I am able to walk normally again. I recommend him highly.

Dr Junglas cares about his patients. It shows in the time that he spends with you. He never treats you like a number. He takes an interest in you like you are his only patient. More doctors should be like him.

Had no problem whatsoever and 4 years later my knees are still wonderful. 3 months after surgery I was hiking in the Sierras. Entire staff was awesome.

Due to a terrible back injury many years ago my body is now kind of falling apart. Bill Junglas has been helping me get through the the problems one incurs when your body starts to wear out unevenly.Hip, knee and a variety of other problems. He is kind, concerned,and his diagnosis is always correct. I am very fortunate to have him as my Dr.One more note about Dr Junglas, he never makes you feel rushed. He always spends time with you.

I'm getting very concerned with my selection of choosing Dr. Junglas to perform an upcoming total knee replacement surgery. First off, i choose Dr. Junglas because of recommendations from a co-worker about 6 years ago and it was six years ago i made an appointment to see him. When i met Dr. Junglas for the first (and only time) he diagnosed my left knee with major arthritis and said i needed total knee replacement. He also suggested i try to wait a few more years due to my age, he suggested i wait until i was at or close to age 60 and suggested pain med's and cortisone to help me..Today i am age 58 and i can no longer withstand the pain i endure daily so I've scheduled the surgery. Here is my concern: Over the last 6 years I've been to visit Dr. Jungals office, approx 20 visits, to receive my cortisone treatments. Each of those 20+ visits i never saw or talked with Dr. Junglas, only his assistants and interns. I've even asked to see Dr. Junglas on future scheduled visits, but it… never happened, he wasn't available, so i was told. Also during those 20 visits i cant count the times i had appointment cancellations, some i didn't learn until waiting 40 mins for doctor visits, and re-schedules because the assistants were busy and i even experienced numerous hang-ups by the doctors CSR's because they didn't want to deal with my frustrations. I don't know why, but i hung in there during all this mess and now I'm dealing with the straw that's breaking the camels back (mine) My knee replacement surgery is scheduled in two weeks, my pre-opp is schedule this week. Last night i got a reminder message from my doctors office reminding me of my visit with, NOT Dr. Junglas, but his assistant. I cant believe this. I am extremely nervous about this surgery, i had a mile long list to go over with the surgeon, Dr. Junglas and now i get to visit an assistant 5 days before my surgery. This is like a kick to the belly that took all the wind out of me. I'm no longer excited about getting this surgery, because basically a total stranger, Dr. Junglas, the one I've only seen one time in the last 6 years wont take the time to visit with me. I'v had 5 different surgeries in my life time including two other knee surgeries and i've always had a real good relationship with the surgeons and doctors, always able to meet and discuss with them one on one.. I've told my friends this story including my wife and they all tell me they wouldn't let this doctor touch them under the situation I've been through.. So today i am probably going to take their advice and cancel out on this surgery and seek a whole different Medical service next year when my Medical insurance renews.. After six years of being a patient with Dr. Junglas, I cant give an honest opinion on him simply because i don't know him!!! Would you have a stranger cut your leg apart??

Had 2 knee surgeries and was very happy with both results. He is very caring and you almost enjoy going to see the doctor!!
