Dr. William Lipsky, MD

I recently had cataract surgery on both of my eyes by Dr. Lipsky, and I could not be more pleased with my results.  Before my eye surgeries, I had large cataracts that left me blinded in my right eye and experiencing compromised vision in my left eye.  This left me insecure, fearful, and depressed at times.  After Dr. Lipsky performed the cataract surgeries, I have now been able to see very well out of both eyes and am now confident and much happier.  Dr. Lipsky is the best, and I would highly recommend anyone who needs cataract removal surgery to consider having it done by this doctor. This doctor, as well as his office staff was kind and helpful in answering any questions I had. I feel blessed that I picked the correct surgeon to perform my cataract surgeries.

Lipsky is great at what he does, but his business practice is one of prioritizing money over humanity. Wait times are at a minimum 2 hours with some visits exceeding in excess of 5 hours. Customer service should come hand in hand with medicine and clearly after 45 years he’s forgotten this

Dr. Lipsky performed a procedure on me 12 years ago that I was quite happy with, so I looked forward to following up with him as my vision had begun to deteriorate. There are lots of good doctors in the Houston area. Unless you enjoy spending hours in a waiting room, don't schedule with Dr. Lipsky. I was scheduled for 3 pm. After sitting in the main waiting area for 2 1/2 hours, one of his techs came and brought me to an exam room where she did an exam, then dilated my eyes. I was then escorted to the back waiting room with 3 other women. We began chatting and discovered that all 4 of us were booked 10 minutes apart. When it got down to 2 of us, the lady before me and me, a patient was brought from the main waiting area and Dr. Lipsky ducked in to see them. That's when I gave up. I had spent a total of 3 hours waiting, and he was either more over-booked than what was in the back waiting area, or he snuck in a preferred patient. Either way, I'll never book an appointment with him,… again. I'm a small business owner and I can't let this big shot waste half my day.

My second day after surgery and I am so very happy of my results. I can see again. Thank you Dr. Lipsky!

no complaints with the doctor, he is the best, did not know I could see as well as I am seeing right now.

Dr.Lipsky is a top notch eye surgeon.You do not have any problems after surgery.I have had freinds that went to other surgeon to have their cataracts removed and had major issues afterward,they had their cataracts removed. I have the highest respect for this awesome doctor. He is top notch. If,i ever have to have any type of eye surgery due to an injury,it would differently be Dr.Lipsky.

My vision had really deteriorated. I was in trifocals. What a difference better vision makes!

I was referred to him because of cataracts. I previously had RK and lasik. I was able to see distance in both eyes, but had to wear glasses for close up. After surgery in my left eye, I could no longer see distance, only close up. This has made depth perception unbearable. It is a struggle to walk a straight line - very difficult to drive during the day and impossible at night. I wish that I had never had this done, and I will not have the cataract surgery in my right eye. Probably not the doctor's fault, but I was not prepared for the results. It has been two months of frustration since surgery and my vision is still changing, but not improving. Be prepared to wait 2 to 3 hours to see the doctor, even with an appointment. Total time spent for each patient is approx. 10 minutes.

After hearing rave reviews from former patients and learning about his experience i made the decision to have cataract surgery... found the staff and his nurse to be very thorough and caring... i began this process with great concern but soon i felt trust and confidence in Dr. Lipsky's skill and knowledge. I had cataracts removed and ReStor multi-focal lenses implanted... It was the BEST decision i could have made... i was and still am thrilled with the results... great vision and no glasses!!
