Dr. Petersen should retire as he seems to only think about himself while working with the patient. He doesn't seem to want to be there or to be helping patients. He feels he is too important to return phone calls, while this is now becoming more of the norm with the new doctors. A lot of misinformation occurs when it goes through other people instead of directly through the doctor. For example, if you have a cancer diagnosis it should be told to you face to face, not on the phone. I have never heard of a physician being that cruel.

I waited for 1 1/2 hours for Dr Petersen to see my mother, who was very ill. Dr Petersen said my mother was fine..without examining her. He was very rude. Mom died 11 days later from sepsis secondary to untreated UTI.She also was severely dehydrated and renal failure. Dr peteresen filled out the death certificate & stated cause of death was stroke. I confronted him on this, told him I wanted it ammended to state the truth & he refused!
