As a member of the Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute at Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s neurosurgical team, Dr. Maggio employs minimally invasive and complex techniques to treat a wide array of conditions, including awake craniotomy and stereotactic radiosurgery, including ZAP-X Radiosurgery and Gamma Knife.
Dr. Maggio completed his neurosurgery residency at University of Virginia Health Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, and completed his neurosurgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York. Committed to educating the next generation of neurosurgeons, Dr. Maggio has held several academic faculty positions in New Jersey, Texas and Maryland.
