Wouldn’t give 1 star

Talks about how great he is for most of your visit, has a real ego problem. Does not perform a full neurological exam, or even a decent exam. He clearly does a lot of work for insurance companies , therefore your care depends on what side of the insurance he works for. If he is working for the motor vehicle or worker comp insurance to save them money, do not expect anything from him, it seems the care is predetermined and he is simply a puppet who gets paid to do their bidding. Office staff is not unpleasant, but not warm and friendly either. Must be hard to work with him when he talks badly about patients, other doctors and how great he is all day. Run from him and ask for real care !!

No personal etiquette at all

I traveled an hour one way to see Dr. Mitchell and was late by approximately 15 minutes due to travel issues. I'm in severe discomfort with a broken jaw that's wired shut and back injuries. They refused to see me even when I offered to sit there for the day to be seen if there was a cancellation or at the end of the day. I also explained my situation for transportation involved someone taking a day off of work. Like I said... No personal etiquette AT ALL!!!

No stars would be a better rating

I waited almost an hour for a scheduled appt to be seen. There was nobody else in the office I could see, but could hear vague talking behind closed doors of 2 men. That conversation moved out into the hallway, the “other person” appeared to be a sales rep when he walked out. They did talk for several minutes in the hallway though, where Dr Mitchell was loudly discussing how much he hates WC cases, and discussed one in particular that would be very easy for someone to identify everything about the person short of him mentioning their name. Can you say HIPPA violation !! And why would a sales rep need to know any of that Information ?? He clearly wasn’t providing any information relevant to the case ...just stroking Dr Mitchell's ego for him as he told what a powerful & mighty doc he is to work for insurance companies ...where he doesn’t use his degree for the better of medicine, he actually just uses it as a weapon in the circus game of WC and MVA cases. The exam is a joke, he talks so much about himself that you’re lucky to get a word in edgewise, he twists your words, and will try to make you believe there is nothing wrong with you ...because that’s what the insurance company wants after all. He speaks poorly about other local physicians in his specialty, which is extremely unprofessional . There is no communication about a treatment plan, he of course has to consult with the insurance companies about what they do/don’t want. He shames the profession, certainly has no integrity or credibility, and obviously has the “job” he does because he probably doesn’t have a reputable practice of his own. I can only equate him to a defense attorney who represents scumbags ...someone has to do it . Run from this doctor !!
