Dr. William Todd Goldman, MD

This man should not be practicing psychiatry. Rude, arrogant, does not seem to care about his patients. My son saw him several times and we kept thinking it would get better - not so much. We were shocked at his unprofessionalism.

The people who make these reviews must be so overprescribed and drugged up to think that this place is anything other than complete trash. The receptionist is never in a good mood, and also doesn’t know how to answer the phone or make call backs. She will need the pharmacy address and number because she’s too lazy to look it up herself. And the actual pyschatrist? HAHAHA. His job is to make patients feel comfortable and he does the complete opposite. I left my Starbucks in the lobby because it was giving me explosive diarrhea and planned to pick it up after my session, and he rants and raves about how I should have asked for a trashcan. Already feeling ready to leave my appointment, he shakes the hand of my boyfriend and asks if he’s my father, after multiple sessions of me telling him he’s my boyfriend. The whole appointment he laughs at my boyfriends input, who only came in to help me with a proper diagnoses since it’s difficult for me to verbally communicate my feelings. I’ve never been so uncomfortable and treated as a joke in my life. Do yourself a favor and do not come here, and especially don’t take your kids here !

Has a definite superiority complex. And I swear, I think he was PLAYING WITH HIS PHONE (hidden behind the chart he was supposed to be writing in) BOTH times I saw him. Left that place in a hurry and found someone who actually cares. Wish I’d walked out before the first session was even over (not that he would’ve cared).

He's a drug dealer. And he's incredibly rude and condescending. If you want to be belittled and sold drugs, then this is your guy.

No doctor should be prescribing long term benzodiazepines to a patient who drinks alchohol and takes opiods on a regular basis. Our family member (adult patient) thinks you are the "greatest" because you continue to give him any psych drug he choses while he tells you how great he is at partying and taking his meds. Please refer to the medical manuals on opiods and benzodiazepine sudden deaths and alcohol and benzodiazepine sudden deaths. We have reported the alcohol use and opiod use to your office on two phone calls to a receptionist. You continue to prescribe a benzodiazepine without hesitation and without alcohol or opiods drug testing.

I took my 6 year old son to see him at first he was nice and put my son a medication that was not working and made him worse. I took my son for a follow up appointment and he said what medicine did I want to try for my son. I told him I don't know your the Dr. Then he got rude and condescending he gave my son a new medication for ADHD that did him but then he ran out of refills and I called the office and told her that my son needed a refill and that tommorow was Saturday and that he couldn't wait until Monday she said she would call me but she never did so I drove over there before they closed to get the refill I waited then she said here is the prescription that will be 15 dollars when I asked why she said that was the charge for the dr to write the prescription I was so angry I never went back. If you are thinking about taking your child there don't. He is a terrible dr and that secretary should be fired she totally incompetent

I struggled with depression and anxiety for years before I was referred to Dr. Goldman. On my first visit, he spent three hours with me getting a detailed history. He listened, but also gently guided and clarified. He gave me a diagnosis that day that fit, finally! We worked together to find a cocktail of meds that would work for me. I've now enjoyed the best mental health of my life. He is reasonable and cautious, but also up on current data and willing to partner with you to find what works.

One of the best doctors I have had the privilege to see. Spends quality time with his patients and truly cares about them. I give Dr. Goldman my highest recommendation.

Dr is condescending and rude. When he asked if I was seeing Dr ------ I started to explain to him that she no longer took my Insurance and before I could finish he said" so is that a NO"?? He went on to insult me with a smile on his face and and didn't want you to talk unless he asked you a question. He is very condescending. I felt that I never wanted to return when I left. I left my Rx and referral card on a table and walked out. I'll never go back again. I've never been treated like that before.

Dr. Goldman is great with teens. He is caring and really talks with.. and not at... the patients. I am so happy to have found him as a provider.

Absolute Quack!! Talked 20 minutes took our money so obviously all he cares about $300 for 20 minutes!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Goldman's for several years and have only had positive experiences. I have referred and will continue to refer friends and family.

My child has seen Dr Goldman for several years now. It's easy to get in; his receptionist Nancy is friendly and accomodating; A short wait is to be expected (some kiddos & families need more time); When you get in, Dr Goldman is warm and caring. He listens and asks questions to be sure to give the right medications. He is highly knowledgeable and is understanding of your apprehensions of certain medications. He is significantly better than any of our previous psychiatrists and I won't take my son anywhere else. The bottom line is it's working and my son is happy. If you don't like him, maybe there is something wrong with you.

Dr. Goldman is caring and professional. He is great with kids and is very good at making sure that the medication he prescribes also makes the child feel comfortable about taking it. He will make sure to answer all questions and concerns you may have about the medication and its effects. His front desk person is fantastic, and they even have a cute little dog for the children to play with while there. The only down side is the wait, but he does deal with a lot of kids. As in most instances, kids just take longer to deal with. You get quality care, and that should be all that matters.

When I first met with Dr. Goldman, I was very impressed by his thoroughness - both on a psychological as well as on a physical level. He then recommended a therapist for the routine therapy to me, who was the perfect person for me to work with. Dr. Goldman has continued to work with me, periodically, checking my medications which required extensive "work-arounds" to determine not only which was the best medication, but to "perfect" the right dose. He continues to focus not only on my psychological well being, but also examines the effects of my physical well being. In fact, because of his continued discussions with me, we have discovered a medical condition which has had an impact on me both physically and psychologically. I am very grateful to have Dr. Goldman on my side!

I was referred by my OBGYN due to seperating. I explain my medication condition to him and he presribed an antidepressant. I started having problems with he. He said it would take a little time. We at xmas I was really having problmes called to see they would out of the office until after the new year. I then call in the morning to get an emergency appointment. She said she would call me back, to ths day she has not called me back. When I met with him he never looked at me just wrote stuff down. I was able to find another doctor that was wonderful.

Dr.Goldman has helped my daughter overcome bi-polar issues when other doctors' gave us bogus diagnosis. He never -prescribe meds and was great with Kaitlyn. he treated her with compassion and care. She is so much better for having known him. I see him too. At times he is rushed and seeminly distracted,but that is just my perception. He is supposed to be objective and at time tough and challenging. I think he needed to chand his policies, otherwise there would be 2 waiting rooms full of patients like in the beginning ohis practice. I recommend him all the time. And he is the best psychiatrist in the DFW area.

Dr. G sees my daughter as well as myself, and is BY FAR the best psychiatrist that we have encountered. He is thorough and does not rush us out like some treadmill doctors do. He does tend to run behind at times because of this, but is definitely WORTH THE WAIT. Sometimes when you call you may not get a person answering immediately (he only has one office staff who is very nice) but KEEP TRYING, or use his web site and email to get him directly. I have referred friends to Dr without regret!!

Dr.Goldman is terrible & I would not recommend. He doesn't act like he really cares for the patient, has wait times well in excess of an hour (last time over 2 hrs), and seems to be hungry for additional money since he's demanding about appointments. After spending $1000's of dollars getting an outside diagnosis, Dr. Goldman had the nerve to dismiss those results in about 5 minutes. We dropped paperwork off to him to review a week prior to the appointment and he never looked at it. He spent our first office visit reading the report with a few questions here and there and then prescribed a prescription which did nothing. Next visit, 2 hour wait time...couldn't remember my name and asked why I was back..What an idiot.

Dr. Goldman has the skills to be a tremendous asset to the children of our community.In the years he treated our child it was clear his primary drive was to maximize his income at the expense of the patients.Initially he seemed the ideal caring physician. Later, the 30 min. therapy sessions we paid for were rarely more than 10 min. Waiting times were 45 minutes on average. Sometimes extending more than an hour. Goldman insist on seeing his patients that receive prescriptions every 30 days, minimum, and charges a premium for writing prescription for certain drugs. Appointments were sometimes canceled by his office on the date of the appt.Goldman is an extraordinarily gifted psychiatrist. It's a shame his love of money exceeds his desire to help the children.
