Dr. Smith has been my husband's and my primary doctor ever since he replaced Dr Wittmer. At first I can honestly say he came across distant and seemed uncaring but after a few visits it became obvious that he was indeed a very caring and understanding doctor. We've now been going to him 8+ years and I don't even want to think about having a different doctor! He always takes time to listen and cares about what our medical issues are. My husband had a liver transplant in Charlotte in 2012 and anytime I go see Dr Smith he ALWAYS asks me how he's doing. That is a caring doctor! You don't find many like that anymore. I highly recommend Dr Smith. Just give him time to get to know you. He can even be funny at times! Thanks Dr Smith for being our doctor and caring for us the way you do!

Dr. Smith may be a qualified physician, but, he lacks any form of bedside manner. Upon my first visit, he entered the room, did not take the time time say hello, or even introduce himself. He was quite stiff during my entire visit, and i felt very uneasy around him. I'm looking for a new doctor that's highly qualified, and also acts as if they care about the patient.

Genuinely concerned and caring MD. He always makes me feel comfortable even during awkward procedures. I feel as though I can tell him anything and he'll go out of his way to help me. It's been a long time since I've found a doctor this dedicated.
