Dr. William Vincent Andrews, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Andrews for several years. He has the most wonderful "bed-side'manner", he comforts me and treats me like I was his only patient. His expertise gives me peace. I also appreciate Julie and Tracy on his staff. They are kind, helpful and smart/professional! Thank you all for caring for me. Sharron Dake

I was reluctant to go to this doctor as he misdiagnosed a friend of mine who had thyroid cancer, and she ended up having to go elsewhere for them to discover it. As they were able to get me in the quickest, I gave him a chance. Mr. Andrews was quite possibly the worst specialist I've ever seen. I had been alternating between HIGH and normal TSH, which which indicates hypothyroidism. In addition, my BP was going high for weeks, in addition to my heart rate changing depending on how my BP was doing. The medication Levythyroxine I was prescribed seemed to make symptoms worse. I had gained 15 pounds since the beginning of the year, and as someone that goes to the gym 4x a week and log my macros, it didn't seem right. This guy didn't even want me to talk. He instead only focused on what my doctor had sent in, which was my most recent lab. He even asked why I was there! During the times he would listen, I asked him what our options would be, and he stated he would only prescribe… Levythyroxine for hypothyroism, which I had already been on and responded HORRIBLE to. He belittled everything I asked, stating things like "well, I base my answers off real studies"...and even told me doing cardio at the gym won't help with weight loss. So I guess that's why I've gained 15 pounds? He did a blood test - nearly identical to the same one my primary care doctor had done 3 times already and sent me on my way. I never heard back from the doctor. I was able to login to their "portal" to get my results, and that was all. So here I am now, still having symptoms, and now I am going to schedule with KU given Mr. Andrews was too ignorant to listen to what my issues really were, and what I have been dealing with. I honestly felt bad for my insurance having to pay for this "service"! I would not feel comfortable putting anyone I care about under his care. You'd be better off with your primary care doctor.

Called his office for an appt 4 times. Each time they had to check referral faxes. My drs office faxed them twice. NEVER did they call me. Very disappointing. And the dr probably doesn't have a clue how bad and inefficient their appt dept is

Dr. Andrews gives me all the time I need at each appointment. He carefully explains all lab results, diagnoses and treatment plans. I would not see anyone else.

The staff was extremely courteous, patient, efficient and prompt. My appointment was on time with virtually no waiting. Dr. Andrews was very personable and made me feel important (not just a number). He took time to explain all facets of my illness and even new insight that no other doctor had explained before. I would highly recommend this facility and Dr. Andrews.

I think Dr. Andrews takes time to listen to his patients. He never makes you feel rushed and tries to help whatever your situation is. He has been a doctor for several years so has tons of experience and great knowledge of his medical field. He is compassionate with your issues.

Dr Andrews was fabulous. The wait time was exhorbitant! From entering into the office to exiting was THREE hours!! He, however spends a lot of time talking with you, listening and advising so guess that's why it takes a bit. Just plan accordingly.

I have been going to him for several years. He is always polite, very thorough, and spends the proper amount of time with me. I never feel rushed. I'm sorry about the other experiences. He has been great for me!

I found this Doctor easy to talk to, he informed me of everything. Still took the next step to rule out my diag. even though he didn't think it was necessary Very polite Dr. I like him..

I will never see this rude mean doctor again it was the worst doctor visit of my life!
