Dr. William Edward Verross, MD

Dr Verross has been my GYN for over 20 years. I absolutely love him. I have never been comfortable with pelvic exams but he put me at ease and was very kind and gentle. He remembers things I have told him several years ago like I had just told him. He has always listened to me and did everything he could to help. I think he is probably the best doctor I have ever seen. I dread the day he retires as I will never find a better person or a better doctor than Dr. Verross. When I started going to see him, I like his so much that my mother and both sisters started going to him. He takes care of my whole family. My sister has lived over seas and in another state, but comes back to Charlotte to see him. He is the BEST! Love Dr Verross!

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Verross. A week after giving birth to my son, I made an appointment with his office because I was short of breath. They seen me same day. His assistant rushed me in, took my blood pressure which she said was "normal" and then said my pulse was "normal". Dr. Verross then came in and asked me what the problem was. I told him I could not breathe and he snickered "You CAN breathe or you wouldn't be sitting here." He listened to my heart and told me it wasn't serious, that it was just stress, to breathe into a paper bag. They sent me on my way, giving me looks as if I was an idiot for coming in. I went to the ER that night because it didn't get any better and breathing into a paper bag was worse. My blood pressure was 210 over 160, definitely not NORMAL as his assistant said. My heart beat was irregular because I was in heart failure. I spent the next days in ICU with not one doctor from his office, let alone himself, come to check on me. … HORRIBLE experience with not even an apology.

I have had the privelage of being a patient of Dr. Verross for 18 years. He has been my doctor through 3 pregnancies and many other medical ups and downs. His ability to listen to me as the patient surpasses any I have experienced with any other doctor. He is knowledgeable and understanding. I trust him completely and have no doubt that he is always doing what is medically best for me. Thank you Dr. Verross!

I met Dr. Verross over 12 years ago and I have been his patient ever since. I have reffered all my friends and family. He has the best bed side manner. He takes his time with me, always makes me feel like I am his only patient of the day and makes me feel very compfortable in an otherwise uncopfortable situation! I would never trust another OBGYN the way I trust him and his staff. I must say though during pregnancy rotation his fellow OBGYN partners are wonderful as well! Thanks for all you do and for helping me bring 3 beautiful little boys into this world!
