Dr. William Warren Robbins, DO

I have been going to see Dr. Robbins since I hurt my back in 2005. At first, my primary care physician did not know what to do for me. My head was stuck on my shoulder and I could not sit or stand and had to have a wheelchair to even get to his office. It was because I had been moving some sand and rocks from my front yard to my back yard with a shovel and wheelbarrow. I didn't know when I got the herniated and ruptured discs in my back but within 2 days, I had to be taken to the hospital because I couldn't move at all. My primary care doctor then sent me to a a so-called pain doctor named Joiner. He is a anesthesiaologist who is obviously taking his own drugs. He has a pony tail and he thinks more of himself than he does of any patient. I would never see him again if my life depended on it. Joiner did nothing for me and he yelled at me and said I just wanted drugs when I left his office crying in so much pain after he stuck a giant horse needle in my spine and hurt me with… the pain and almost paralyzed me, I called my primary care doctor and they told me to go back and tell Joiner it didn't do any good and that he gave me no pain meds in my spine. His secretary told me to come over and I did. When Joiner saw me he started yelling at me and telling me I couldn't have more meds. and I was just trying to get drugs. I did not get any drugs of any kind. All I got was a needle in my spine that hurt me more. Then I was sent to a Neurologist who said I needed a real pain management specialist and he recommended Dr. Robbins. Thank goodness he did. Dr. Robbins has helped me so much and he is so caring and honest. He is not taking drugs and he really cares about his patients. I will probably die of pain and suffering if and when he retires. He went from a small office in a small center to a much larger office with two other doctors. I wish he had not and I wish he wasn't so busy because it is getting harder to get to see him. We moved 5 years ago and now I travel over 200 miles one way to an appointment withhim because he is so busy and works so hard. We have to stay overnight but it is worth it to see him. There have been times he has been able to make the pain go away for as much as 6 months. Usually it is 3 months and I take what I can get but 6 is great. I am so happy I met Dr. Robbins and his wonderful staff. The original staff and I have become very good friends and they really care about you too. They are so nice and caring. They are not there for the money but for the patients. Dorothy, Alice, and Liz cannot be replaced. Thank you to all of them.

Was seen almost 2 hours after my appointment.

I have had multiple injections/treatments for chronic back pain over the last 10 yrs with no relief. I had an injection recently by Dr Robbins and the results were awesome! I can move around pain free for the first time in 10 years. As a medical professional myself, I can tell you that he has great bedside manner and he spent the appropriate amount of time with me needed to make me feel comfortable and unrushed. In this day and age, when time is money for physicians, this is unheard of. Kudo's to Dr Robbins and his staff for maintaining a committment to the patient and not the bottom line.

Dr. Robbins has treated my husband for more than 10 years. After spending years dealing with doctors who were either competent, yet insensitive/downright rude, or incompetent, but compassionate -- when had almost given up. We are blessed to have found Dr. Robbins. He is the perfect blend of uber talent and skill combined with kindness and empathy. This is SO important in pain management. If you truly need medication, he will prescribe it, but after a thorough medical eval -- he is not one of those drs. that will just throw an RX at you and walk out. But he is incredible skilled at identifying the source of back pain, the precise location, and developing treatment plans with steroid injections, radiofrequency, etc, that squash pain without turning you into a walking pharmacy. Bottom line: If you are in pain, and truly want relief, this is the doctor to see.

Impeccable bedside manner. Keeps up on latest techniques. Staff is friendly, but professional. Dr. Robbins will sit and listen. Highly recommend this Doctor.

Dr.Robbins and his staff are caring, kind and personable. Living with chronic pain is horrible, Dr Robbins make life easier. I can't imagine seeing any other doctor.

Waited weeks for the appt and completed all faxed in paperwork ahead of time. Checked in over 15 minutes early to complete forms as requested. Paid my co-pay at check in. I was told to wait in waiting room appt was at 4:30pm. At 5:00 pm was moved into another room and Dr was a no show.

kind, caring, compassionate. talks in plain terms i as a patient can understand. he has WONDERFUL chairside manner as well as all of his staff. effective, communicates well. gentle and considerate for the patient in horrible pain. i would recommend anyone to dr. robbins and if i ever have to have surgery again, would be very comfortable knowing he was my anesthesiologist. in fact i would/will request if i can have him. again, his staff are happy, kind, organized, efficient in their jobs. great doctor, great staff.
