Dr. Tong is the best plastic surgeon I have experienced with a kind heart and the best interests of her patient. I was transferred to Kaiser from a previous implant surgery with a Mycobacteria infection. She came to the clinic specifically to see me the next day after her scheduled surgeries. She was friendly, patient, thorough, and attentive. She then performed surgery to remove my implant the next day because of the urgency of my infectious incision. I felt like I was a VIP but I can tell this is the way she cares for and treats all her patients. The surgery went really successfully and I am now on my post-op and recovering well. Dr. Tong works closely with my Infectious Disease specialist to treat my slow-growing bacteria. I am confident that I am in the best hands for healing. All the staff in her clinic, the physician assistants, nurses, and assistants, are super nice and make me feel welcome on any visit. I hear she's very strong technically, but she's also compassionate, a good listener (how rare!), reassuring, informative, and kind.
