Dr. Xavier Jose Munoz, DO

Worst doctor in El paso. Doesn't listen to his patients. Does whatever he wants. Also he likes touching his young female patients. Never a female nurse in the room when he is checking you other places. I wouldn't trust him with any of my female friends. All he cares about is money.

So I called and set an appointment for Dec. 9th at 920 am. I'm still here in the office at 11am waiting to be seen in a room that was originally a closet. If I didn't need my medications I wouldn't be here. They will reschedule your appointment if your twenty minutes late.or charge you 20 dollars if you don't cancel 24 hours in advance. What about the patient you had a spot for at 920 am and yet here we are still waiting. Absolutely pathetic service. Will not return.

Diagnosed me With a thyroid problem. Didn't believe take any medicine prescribed, went to next appointment and said my thyroid was OK because I was taking the medicine. Never took the medicine because I don't have a thyroid problem.

with record on hand asked me what I wanted, yelld at me several times and then apologized. prescribed costly medications. worst Dr. I ever encountered," he got mad because I did not like a certain medications that wernt working for me and advised me to find another doctor. what kind of doctor would treat a patient in this manor....I DO NOT RECOMEND TRUST ME..........

He's a good doctor, knows his stuff. But getting referrals or any info over the phone takes an act of congress. They never call you back. You have to keep calling until you get a live person which doesn't happen easily. The only way to get anything from them (referrals, info for insurance, etc.) is to pack yourself in the car and go there. Otherwise, forget it.

IVE BEEN CALLING SINCE 8AM TO THEIR OFFICE AND BILLING DEPT I LEFT A MESSAGE IN THE DOCTORS LINE ITS 2 PM AND HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO ANYONE THEY DONT ANSWER THEIR PHONES! WOULDNT RECOMMEND

Diagnosed a hernia from 6 feet away and gave referral to surgeon. Office wouldn't get insurance referral authorization and insurance company had to get involved. Even after getting authorization, would not get it to surgeon despite numerous requests. I had to get the number and then have surgeon's office verify it. Refused to get baseline mammogram plus additional diagnostics from previous doctor. Either wouldn't answer questions or gave flippant answers. Would only give blood, urine and electrocardiogram results at another appointment. Still hand writes Rx and has no patient portal although EHR program has those capabilities.

I went to see Dr. Munoz about a year ago. My experience was outstanding. He was professional, respectful, and gave me the insight i needed after an accurate prognosis of what I went for. He was adamant about his staff doing things quickly and efficiently, which I really appreciated.

Excellent physician.

I highly recommend Dr. Munoz. I go to the WESTSIDE location on Redd Rd. He is an excellent Dr. Is attentive, listens and addresses your health problem ...
