Dr. Xiaoying Hensel, MD

Kind, compassionate and thorough.

I saw Dr. Guo because I was referred by a friend. I felt so diappointed because she didn't respect me at all. When she examined me, she was so rude and simple. When I called her for a test result, I had to call several times for her to call me back. Her office manager is also rude and arrogrant. I would not recommend this doctor to any people.

I have been Dr. Hensel's patient now for several years (before she moved to the new location) and went to see her initially based on strong recommendations from friends who also saw her. I was really impressed with the level of care and detail she takes in getting to know her patients. She has a multi faceted philosophy about health including balance in one's life and spirituality. One of the things I really appreciated about her was that she first asked what I thought the problem was and how she could help me. I appreciated the fact that she doesn't give you more than you can handle and change in a short period of time but rather recommends the couple of things that I could be successful in changing. And I had a lot to change - weight, lifestyle, nutrition, medications, sleep patterns. She worked with me over time and I am a new person and feel ten years younger. She is a gift. I went to Dr. Hensel because I lived close to her office.It is difficult to make an appt with her because she doesn't work everyday based on the fact she has no patients. She canceled my appt for twice, finally I can meet with her but made wait for 40 minutes. She basically can prescribe any medicine you want but didn't give you professional advice. By the way her office manager is really rude and impolite.
