Dr. Cynthia Xinyue Liu-Chen, MD

My first visit was fine. At my second appointment, she said I missed an appointment. I did not. I was there on the date and time scheduled by her office. At the end of the appointment she said I should come back in a year and then said I probably wouldn’t show up. To make matters worse, had had a blood draw at her request. I never heard anything from her about the results . One year later she wanted a rush blood draw before my next appointment. I had it done. A few days later a staff member called to tell me I had diabetes. On my own, I arranged to see an endocrinologist. He was able to see past records and told me I have been diabetic for two years. Dr. Lou Chen never told me this and never treated this whole the disease progressed and put my health in Jeopardy.

At first, she was very kind. But when I had an issue she had no experience with, she was very dismissive and argumentative. She basically didn't believe me when I told her the symptoms I was having, she accused me of faking it and would not contact the other doctors I had seen to confirm. Very upsetting.
