Dr. Yahya Mohamed Husseiny Ahmed, MD

This doctor may have 10 years of experience but his bedside manner and patient assessment are far below poor. During a recent hospital admission, he walked into the room and did not introduce himself (I had never seen or heard of him before). He asked me one question about my symptoms and started to make his way out of the room...this is without doing an assessment as my internal medicine/admitting physician. I had to ask him his name and dept before he left to even know who he was. After that initial visit he was not very receptive to my concerns despite the nurse paging him. Also, when he told me why we would be doing one treatment and not another he would say because of “side effects” instead of explaining what side effects or risks there could be. I did not feel like he cared for me the way a doctor should care for his patients.

Not patient centered or empathetic. Very poor bed side manners. I will never recommend this doctor
