Dr. Yan Isabel Zhu, MD

Dr. Isabel Zhu is a very skilled diagnostician with a deep knowledge of her profession.She is very compassionate and caring and follows up on her patients. Her warm and confident manner put my husband at ease as she treated his pre-malignant skin cancers. We highly recommend her.

When i go into Dr. Zhu's office i am always treated with kindness, and also given the best customer service. Dr. Zhu has helped me so much with my face, and always gives me the results i am looking for. i always leave her office satisfied and happy, she will continue to be my face doctor, i refuse to go with someone else. Dr. Zhu is very professional and always knows the solution to any face problem i have.

Dr. Zhu has incredible bedside manner, and genuinely cares about her patients. I was surprised how fast she got into each room, yet was able to spend plenty of time with each patient, tending to any questions. She gets you in within the same day or the very next day when you call, which is virtually unheard of these days. She is highly knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain things to her patients. I would not trust anyone else! Great experience with staff as well, great place to go.

Went in for skin irritation that 1% OTC cortisone was making slightly better. I knew I needed something stronger. I went in thinking insurance had me covered. She gave me a stronger cortisone which I knew I needed and had no idea what the problem was. She gave me no advice. It took her 10 minutes. Insurance didn't cover the visit and they charged $81. I called to ask how much it would cost for a walk in with no insurance and they told me $40-75. I asked why they charged me $81 and asked them to cancel my claim and charge me $40 for my 10 minute visit. They were unwilling to work with me. Horrible doctor. Horrible staff. Stay away.

I have been a nurse for over 30 years, so I have been around physicians for a long time. I feel I know a caring, compitent doctor when I see one....and have been a patient of Dr. Zhu's for many years now. My 92-year-old mother and 26 year-old daughter (also an RN)also see Dr. Zhu for care. Dr. Zhu found a very small, insignificant spot on mom's face, biopsied it, and ended up referring her to a physician to perform Mohs surgery for a large skin cancer that was hidden below the surface of the skin. I have referred others to Dr. Zhu because I am happy with the care she has given me and my family!

I have seen Dr. Zhu for several years. I have always found her to be very thorough and informative. She is a very bright and positive doctor. I really appreciate her expertise and would highly recommend her.
