Dr. Yanjun Ma

Dr Ma is Awesome she is so smart and smart about the care she delivers, from the first time I met her I bonded with her I am a RN and bedside manner is so very important to me during this very trying time I needed a physician who did not treat as if I was in a drive-thru picking up food if you will and this specialist is all that and some I can talk to her and I see the compasion come thru just writing this review brings me to tears. Love you Dr Ma you're my Shero!

We spend our summers in Tennessee and I have an oncologist in Maryland where we live for most of the year. Dr. Ma accepted me as a patient last summer and did an outstanding job taking care of me, although she knew I'd only be her patient for a few months. I was very struck by her knowledge and her compassion and felt I was in very good hands, especially when I went through a health crisis and she responded quickly and in a most helpful way. She also recognized that my main medicine had stopped working and prescribed a new medication which has done wonders for me. I am most grateful to her for her care.

I received a referral to Dr. Ma when I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. I went through chemotherapy and follow up after surgery with Dr. Ma, and have been with her now for about a year and a half. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is always very upbeat and cheerful. She is very concerned about every detail of the medical issues going on, and follows up in detail. She is very thorough, but also very friendly, so you leave feeling like you understand what you are facing. Love my visits there.
