Horrible New Staff
Self-verified patient of Dr. Yaser Alobeid - Posted on April 17th, 2018
Dr Alobeid has been my physician for 5 years. There were plenty of things to be tweaked in his habits but overall I was happy with my care. He offered help where other Dr's had none to offer. Recently he hired a new staff and they are horrible. The worst is the receptionist. She is the face of his office but is poorly spoken, ignores patients when they arrive, doesn't answer the phone in a timely manner, doesn't return calls and is overall negligent. Dr requires patients to be seen once a month which is overkill but I put up with it because he helped me. On my last visit I didn't ask for a refill on a med because I thought the med had 1 refill left. After 2 weeks when a refill was needed I realized the refill was expired. I called Dr's office explained I was in 2 weeks prior and would be in for a visit in 2 weeks but needed a refill on this daily med. After several calls to his office and a promise of a call back I never received the call. This was on a Friday. I started calling at 9am so there could be no issue. I even said I would come in if necessary but kept getting put off. 9am Monday I called reminded the receptionist who I was and she replied, we closed early Friday and Dr said he'd prefer to see you than call in your script. It feels very much like Dr is trying to get as many office visits billed as possible but he missed out on a billable visit with me that day because of her. She didn't care what health complications missing 6 or more doses of this medicine would cause me. I'm not sure if Dr knew the situation and if he did he obviously didn't care either. Due to the past several months developments in Dr's office I would not recommend him. I certainly won't be returning.

I have been a patient for over fifteen years. Just recently I found out that the wasn't treating me for my depression. Each time I would go to see him,he always talk about my weight. Come to find out with me knowing he told me to stop taking my meds for depression and I found out that he was giving me meds for migraine headache and another med to suppress my appetite. After constantly telling him that the meds wasn't working he insisted that I take it . So he gave me a different med that did the same effect as the other he continued to tell me to take it and that I was working. I told him that I passed out after the meds. A few days later I got worse went to the hospital and now I am trying to get my medical records sent to another doctor and was told that they can't send my records due to there new software. I had a lot of trust in this doctor and now I feel like I am fighting for my life. Please evaluate everything about doctor Alobeid I stayed to long now I am in desperate need for help to get past my illness. Doctor Alobeid until this day 11-10-2017 has called.

I have only had TWO doctors in the past 64 years. Dr A was the first doctor at age 62. Compared to a doctor I selected closer to my residence he is much more thorough and conscientious, and like all doctors don't expect more than 15 minutes or so, unless perhaps you have terminal illness. Wait times can vary. I've been to the office when the waiting room was packed (90 minute delay) and other times when it was empty. They now have a sign indicating if you are more than 15 minutes late you will have to reschedule. Quite obviously some delays can be due to factors beyond their control. You may want to schedule first thing in the morning or mid-afternoon, right after he gets back from lunch.

This doctor is very rude very bad practice I will never return to this doctor. Every time I went In I waited for over a hour to see him and there has been many times he would answer his personal phone and walk out of the room and just leave me sitting there I think that is bad practice on his end. Stay clear of this doctor
