Dr. Yasmin Dhar, MD

This is the doctor to see! Kind, patient, smart and excellent quality of care. I left her office understanding my problem, all my questions answered and clear plan to recovery. Her PA and secretary were so nice and helpful as well. They all seem to love what they do and it shows with the care they provide. Amazing experience.

Dr Dhar is the best. Treated my different issues for years. Always has a clear plan, explains everything and works step by step to get the best outcome. She operated on my knee and it’s better than ever. Look no further if you have a sports injury issue.

I went to Dr Dhar for another opinion for my shoulder. Another doctor had recommended surgery for my shoulder. Dr Dhar spent time and listened to me and did a thorough exam. She very directly told me not to have shoulder surgery, she thought my neck was the problem. Explained all the details of why, ordered the appropriate tests and sent me to get injection to my neck and therapy. I am 100% better! I saw that other doctor for 5 months and was about to have shoulder surgery. In 2 visits Dr Dhar cured me and I avoided a surgery that I didn't need. She is the best!

Dr. Dhar is a fantastic doctor. Her office is well staffed and the Orthotics department is excellent as well. HOWEVER, the physicians at this practice have their own assistants. So you can rarely speak to anyone directly. Always voicemail, email, and at least 24-hours plus before Dr. Dhar's admin responds. It's VERY frustrating.

She was clearly very busy but still fit me in. Didn't make me feel rushed; spoke to me like I was her only patient there. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Even called me a week later to see how I was doing. Such kindness and care. I have never been treated better by any doctor. Simply the best!

I saw Dr Dhar for a injury to my knee after 2 visits and a recommendation to do physical therapy my knee was better in about 3 months I can’t tell you how comfortable I felt talking to her I actually need a second opinion because if a car accident I was involved in she is my go to orthopedic surgeon Thanks Dr Dhar

Dr. Dhar is a godsend. I have had shoulder problems as a result of years of power-lifting and strongman competitions, suffering and dealing with it the best way I knew. Who knew my rolling off my bed and slamming directly on my shoulder would have led me towards a life now pain free? Dr. Dhar was very direct, gave me all the options, went in and did what needed to be done. She is on the speed call list for life!!! I just recommended her to a buddy of mine. She is the best, hands down!!

Dr. Dhar not only took the time to meet with me regarding my injury but she spent the time to meet with me to understand my concerns. He recommendation for surgery took into account my desire to remain just as physically active after my surgery as I was prior to my injury. Dr. Dhar performed two orthopedic surgeries for me. Dr. Dhar is the best. Great bedside manner, personal follow up and brilliant at what's she does. Feels like visiting family, not a sterile, clinical visit. She tries her best to accommodate her patients & bends over backwards. There are many doctors could be schooled by her, top caliber surgeon/physician with compassion & approachability. I had a complicated reverse shoulder replacement surgery. Not only is Dr Dhar's skill as a surgeon exceptional but her bedside manor was great. She was there every step of the process. She went well beyond my expectations of a surgeon. I am so greatfull for her skill and compassion. And my shoulder is as good as new.

Dr. Dhar was amazing from A to Z! The longest I had to wait was 15min because I was 10min early, when she diagnosed me she explained my injury to me thoroughly, and she took my personal concerns into consideration when giving her professional opinion. My biggest concern was a) what is the fastest way to return to my sport and b) what will give me the fullest recovery. She listened to my concerns, gave her opinion, but made it very clear that it was MY decision. Dr. Dhar was professional, yet refreshingly personable (talked to me like an equal rather than someone who knows FAR more than me...which she does). Lastly, she graduated me to my sport in a perfect way - not too fast, but aggressive enough that I didn't do anything stupid. I appreciated this experience so much even though it was torture not to climb!!!! Thank you!!

This doctor treats people more like close friends than patients. She has a special way of mixing professionalism and awesome personality to help ease the pain of whatever you're going through. I thought that I was special until I saw that everyone is special to her. God bless her and her great staff.

One of the few Doctors I have seen where I NEVER felt rushed and she answered every question I had. Everyone needs a Dr. Dhar on their list.

Doctor Dhar put me at ease immediately. As a middle aged athlete, I never know when an injury is going to be the end. This professional spent the time ... on both occasions I required her services....to explain my injuries, the procedure she would employ and the recovery process. I could not be more satisfied with her manner or the results of her interventions.

I was in pain, really bad pain, and two other doctors ignored my complaints. She was the first doc to actually talk to me, straight forward, tell me what she thougth could make better and what she thought was coming from things she couldnt fix. She was respectful and honest and right. she made a lot of my pain better and got me to the right doctor to help the rest of my problems Forever grateful to to you Dr Dhar for taking the time to listen and help me. Excellent and professional

I never write reviews, but she was really great so I had to. She told me about the problem and how I could keep working out but change around my routine a little to help. I couldnt believe that she even called my trainer to talk to him about adjusting my workouts. What doctor does that! She was cool and nice and patient. Really a great experience.

After leaving Dr. J. Nelson. Finally I found a great Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Yasmin Dhar. I have nothing else to say about her goodness. she is doing her job great. from telling me exactly what is the problem of my right shoulder. what are the options treatment and the consequence. details by details she told me all the pros and cons.she won't leave you until you understand your problem. she is so nice and approachable to anybody no matter the color of your skin.
