Dr. Yasmin K. Karim, MD

I was referred to Dr Karim being a complicated cancer survivor. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of on the quickest and safest way. As much as I downplay my issues she was able to take me through with ease and alot of educating. She also followed up multiple times to check in. Thanks Dr Karim.

I found Dr. Karim was rude, obstinate, unsympathetic to my health needs and overall unfriendly. I will not be returning for another visit. I have asthma and cannot wear a mask for more then a few minutes. She didn’t care at all they I couldn’t breath and said I could leave if I wanted to. I had to use my emergency inhaler during the visit and this creates a tremendous amount of anxiety for me. I see other doctors and they completely understand my health concerns. She had a mask on and was protected.

When visiting Dr. Karim last month with my daughter, Dr. Karim had the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. It seemed like she was running through the motions of questions without any attention to the patient. Today, we received a bill for $939 for tests that we didn't know she took and also have no idea what the results are. If you want a Dr. that will passively listen for five minutes so that she can hurry to schedule a endoscopy....she is for you. Also, if you ever want to talk to a live person at her office....best of luck with that.

I have been having issues since my colon rupture and resection. I have been extremely bloated and uncomfortable. After 3 years it still is not resolved. Every test has not provided her any insight and the standard answer I get is probiotics and exercise. I am now moving to a teaching doctor at Emory.

Felt dismissed and unheard; chronic pain interrupting my life and getting worse; she could care less.

I started seeing Dr. Karim beginning of 2019. I had painful symptoms that’s been interfering with my daily life. Because she wasn’t able to diagnose for 7 months, I had to live with severe discomfort and pain. Also I’d like to add that she has bad bedside manners and comes across as rude and unpleasant.

Dr. Karim took 7 months to diagnose a simple digestive problem. Bad bedside manners. Rude and unprofessional.

Dr. Karim is a fantastic GI specialist. Very knowledgeable and extremely thorough.

Great experience overall! Dr. Karim not only did a really good job explaining everything, she took the time to ask questions about my history and lifestyle to make sure she knew me beyond whatever info I had to give in the intake form. She made me feel so comfortable the entire time. I was really lucky I got to see her!
