I have tried to schedule an appointment with this doctor for my husband who struggles with depression. Dr. Nguyen, will not let her staff schedule an appointment with her for this issue before speaking to her. I called at 12:30 one day was told I receive a call back after they spoke to the doctor. I waited until the next day, called back and was told that the doctor had not told them if we could schedule an appointment. This would have been a first time appointment. The is the worst service anyone could get. To call yourself a doctor and not provide an appointment because you don't' want to deal with a symptom, maybe you should find a different career.

You can get in to see her quickly and if you work or live downtown, it's convenient; however, I wouldn't use her otherwise. She doesn't really listen to your issues and makes up her mind before you've told her everything. Her bedside manner is cold and seems non-caring. She may very well care but it does not come across that way. Very clinical...which would be fine for anything but a family doctor. There is a reason you can get an appointment with her quick and easily.

I had seen Dr. Nguyen for a few years. These visits were mostly quickly stopping in whenever I got sick. When I went to her due to abnormal weight gain (almost 50 pounds in a month), she just told me to keep a food journal and made it sound like such a problem is due to my eating habits. I went to a different physician, who simply ran a blood test to find that I have a thyroid condition that caused my weight gain (thyroid medication has since stopped my problem). If you want a doctor who can quickly diagnose/dispense meds for a cold or the flu, she is great. If you have any serious medical concerns, look elsewhere.

you do not wait a long period of time in the waiting room. She makes sure she anwser all question. She makes sure she covers all illness

Several bad experiences with staff being unable to answer questions, lack of diagnostics that resulted in hospitalization, and not timely addressing heath issues.
