Dr. Yinka Davies isn’t just professional, sweet & kind but she goes above & beyond for patient care. For myself I’ve been a patient for 1 1/2 yrs w/her & right away she knew what was going on & started a treatment plan. She’s very consistent on returning calls ;which she will always call you in regards to your issues & questions you may have ( most Drs don’t do this & have their Medical assistants call patients back ) Dr.Davies truly cares for her patients of all age groups & strives to help them in anyway she possibly can. Iv’e never meet another physician like her ?? She is definitely my top #1 specialist physician I have ever come across an this goes from being her patient & working in the healthcare with multiple physicians. Her staff is very professional, knowledgeable,kind & do everything they can to help patients needs. I know phone hold times can be long ; however most Drs offices are long wait times. It’s worth the wait to get your questions sent to Dr.Davies an or schedule an… appointment w/her ( you won’t regret it ) she is the absolute best !

THE BEST! Definitely an exceptional GI doctor! Dr. Davies has provided amazing care for our son who has complex medical needs and challenges (aspiration, feeding tube/feeding issues, quadriplegia, epilepsy, suppressed immunity, partial brain, just to mention a few…). I cannot say enough kind things about Dr. Davies because she has done so much throughout the years to improve our son’s quality of life. She has a brilliant mind, a kind heart and stays on top of the latest in medical information, technology and trends. Five stars from our family!

This is my first time writing a review, and I truly wish there was an option to give this doctor 0 stars. I spent over a year as her patient, and my experience could not possibly have been worse. I went to her with constant excruciating abdominal pain, amongst other symptoms. You would think that as a gastroenterologist with years of experience and after performing every test imaginable on me, she’d be able to determine that I have a chronic illness. Instead, she was convinced that I merely had a common infection. So common, that “I probably caught it from touching a door knob”, in her own words. She had me go on an antibiotic course that required me to take 10 pills a day for 30 days at just the age of 16. I stayed committed to the medicine, and it didn’t help whatsoever. Still, she refused to believe it was anything serious and would spend 3 minutes max in the room with me during appointments. Her staff isn’t any better than her, and my appointments would always be scheduled 6 weeks… later because they were the earliest available. When I complained about this. she said 6 weeks is nothing compared to what others wait and that I should be thankful. Perhaps I would have been, if she was at all useful. I wish I was exaggerating, but I put on a timer once and she was in and out of the room before it even hit 4 minutes. Eventually, she ran out of things to try on me and started prescribing me laxatives for weeks on end. When my family called to ask about test results, she would get irritated. I eventually had to move away for college and thankfully never see her again. More than 16 months after I first walked into her office, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, a chronic condition that she should have been able to diagnose as a gastroenterologist, especially after performing a colonoscopy on me. What this doctor couldn’t figure out in 12 months, it took my new doctor 2 days to diagnose. I’ll never get back the months of pain and internal bleeding I endured because of this doctor. I almost didn’t make it to my high school graduation because I woke up that morning with such excruciating pain that I was unable to physically move. Save yourself some time and find a better gastroenterologist.

I have an infant who has been experiencing stomach problem. We have tried every kind of over the counter medication, but nothing seems to work. Those medications just give my child a very temporary relief. We were recommended to see a specialist. We were referred by pediatric office to see Dr. Yinka Davies. We had to wait for few weeks for an appointment. On the appointment day we were very excited to see Dr. Yinka and see what her recommendation and prescription will be to bring some ease to our child. We were in the visiting room only for a couple of minutes. Dr. Yinka did not even examine my child. She did not even allow us to explain what the problems are. She said what do you want from me. What do you want me to do? After exchanging few words, she grabbed her note pad and left the visiting room (about couple of minutes after she came into the room). I was shocked seeing her leaving the visiting room. We took time off from work to bring our child for her to be examined. I… couldn’t believe that she simply left the exam room without doing anything. I found her very unstable and prejudice. I believe her prejudicially did not allow her to examine my crying child. In my entire life I have never ever seen or have heard that a doctor, even the worse one, turn head to a crying child. Being prejudice to adults (which I do not approve) is one thing, but not to an infant. It seems she is living in dark ages. Doctors have a duty to provide care to the patient regardless of who they are. Some of these doctors should mentally be examined and if they are not mentally stable their license should be revoked. As a parent I wanted to share my horrible experience with her and warn you that you may get the same treatment as I have got. Children are innocent and deserve kindness and care. Do your research and find a doctor who is kind-hearted that you don’t have to deal with a cold hearted, prejudice arrogant person. One needs to be the worse of the worse of the worse kind to turn head away from a needy, innocent, speechless crying infant and call her or himself a human.

When my son was stuck in limbo with his care from other doctors, Dr. Davies was the only one who truly treated him like a child of her own. She is very encouraging and understanding. She is the reason why my son is completely better. She guided and supported us. In the hospital when speaking to other staff that has worked with her, they even say that she advocates for her patients and she is one of the best out there. She always returns phone calls and give you the time that you need. Her office is very clean and professional and her staff are all very nice and accommodating. If your child needs a GI doctor, Dr. Davies is someone you should meet.
