Dr. Yoav Littner, MD

Yoav Littner, MD, is an Associate Staff Member with Cleveland Clinic Childrens Hospital Departments of Neonatology and Neurosciences. He sees patients at Main Campus and Hillcrest Hospital. his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Littner is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Littner is board certified in pediatrics and neonatology through the Ministry of Health, State of Israel. He completed his undergraduate degree at Technion School of Medicine in Haifa Israel, and he earned his medical degree from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Faculty of Medicine, also in Haifa Israel. His post-graduate training includes a rotating internship and pediatric residency at Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv Israel and a neonatal-perinatal fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland. Dr. Littner is a member of the Society of Pediatric Research, Society for Neuroscience, and the Research Society on …Alcoholism. He has published multiple research articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well as having contributed abstracts and presentations at a number of professional association meetings. He also has contributed to several text books. His specialty interests include care of complex surgical and neonatal disease; nutrition and bone health of preterm infants; music therapy in the NICU; environmental effects of toxins on the developing brain (such as alcohol and Mercury); effects of alcohol on development and migration of oligodendrocyte in the developing brain; and biomarkers for fetal ethanol exposure during pregnancy.
