Dr. Yong Jae Lee, MD

My spouse went to the NCH NE Urgent Care and was diagnosed with Covid-19. When he asked what he could take, Dr. Lee said nothing and hope you don't come back to the hospital to die. This man should have his license revoked.

This doctor needs serious anger management classes. I started with a head injury and laceration of the skin and not one time while performing a glue procedure with student trainees in the room did he has how my comfort was, if I was feeling ok, as I continued to express the pain I was in he continued to press harder and show zero care or compassion. Further he wrote a prescription for 600 mlg ibuprofen and stated it was the law he could not give anything else for my pain. I made him aware I currently have IB 800 MLG and with a fall like mine I am in a ton of pain he grew angrier when I told him look I’m not looking for oxy or something of such please let’s not over react here he yelled out discharge her AND HAVE SECURITY WALK HER OUT. I couldn’t believe it with my eyes the whole interaction is recorded. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone nor NCH.

Dr. Lee is an amazing physician who treated me sometime ago. He got right down to business before he even entered my room. He knew all of my information and was very prepared. He gets down to the brass tax of things, and I like that. My husband began telling Dr. Lee my entire life story and all my previously medical history, but I knew Dr. Lee was already privy to that information because of how prepared he was when he entered my room. The information my husband was providing wasn't going to help Dr. Lee, so I stopped him and told Dr. Lee exactly what happened that night that caused my visit to the ER. Afterward, he gave me a detailed overview of what tests he was going to run and thoroughly explained what he thought was the problem and how he was going to go about fixing it. He answered all my questions and reassured me that he would fix me right up. Upon arrival to the ER, I was terrified because something was seriously wrong, but after a few minutes with Dr. Lee, he made me feel… safe and calm; I knew I was in good hands. Well, Dr. Lee kept his promise and fixed me up! He is a fantastic physician, who I highly recommend (not that you can really request doctors in the ER)! Thank you Dr. Lee for saving my life!

I went to the ER at Naples Community Hospital for chest pains, which turned out to be pre hypertension/anxiety. The hospital was in my insurance network and charged my insurance $10,000 for one night of observation, and a few tests. The ER doctor was Not in my network and I got a separate bill for over $1,300. I think if I ever had the misfortune of going to either I would drop dead from fear of the medical bills.

Dr. Lee provided thoughtful, accurate, & prompt service when I was @ the emergency department for chest pain. He quickly directed his team to assist with blood work, X-rays & admission. He demonstrated a warm bedside manor and concern for my overall wellbeing! Thank you Dr. Lee for overseeing my care and your superior treatment when i was @ the NCH ER.

While on vacation in Marco Island my 12 year daughter developed a rash on both hands and feet. I drove her to NCH emergency because she was feeling tingling and weak. Dr. Lee prescribed 50 mg of benedryll 4 x a day, pepcid 1xday and an extensive dose of prednisone. He told us the rash was an allergic reaction and we would probably never know what caused it. I then asked if he should do some blood work on her he got so defensive and refused. Said it wasn't necessary. He left the examining room and never came back in. The nurse came in with his release orders. As a mother, my instinct told me to question 200mg a day. When arriving home, I took my daughter to her doctor and who also confirmed my thoughts!!! I would not trust his diagnosis or treatments!!!!!
