Dr. Yates and his staff are nothing short of amazing. When you walk into his office it feels more esthetic vs medical it's beautiful. I had a medical breast reduction surgery done 18 years ago. With time and a pregnancy I was in need of some reconstruction. I consulted other plastic surgeons prior and Dr. Yates was the only one who listened to my specific needs. His nursing staff was kind, listened to me and helped me feel great about my decisions. The 3D imaging they used during my consults was so helpful in determining what size and projection would be best for me. I loved being able to have an idea of what they would look like on my body before surgery. He performed a scar revision from my previous surgery with a lift and a mini Motiva breast implant. The greatest thing was I experienced NO PAIN!! I couldn't believe it. The technique and skill he uses allowed me to recover better than expected. I had to remind myself not to lift over 10lbs during recovery. If you're looking for… the best plastic surgeon in Utah Dr. York Yates is your guy. Dr. Yates is an exceptional surgeon. I can’t thank him enough for his attention to detail and the amount of time he spent answering questions online and in person at my consultation. He is kind, patient, extremely skilled and knowledgeable. I had lipo, mini tummy tuck and a bbl done in 2021. He gave me a beautiful and natural result. The scar from my tummy tuck is so low and light it is not even noticeable. I came back this year to have my breasts redone (we found they were ruptured from a previous surgeon years ago). He removed the ruptured implants and hardened muscle and repaired the pockets. I trusted Dr Yates to chose a size based on the look I had liked and my breasts are PERFECT. Dr. Yates is extremely honest, I asked his advice in doing extra procedures. Instead of taking my money he explained why they would not make a difference in my body type and that I did not need anything else. My recovery has been great both times. I didn’t need pain pill last time and do not need… them this time either. The anesthesiologist is amazing. Instantly made me comfortable both times. I was nervous and by the time he had me laughing from jokes I don’t even remember falling asleep. The whole staff is great from the front desk to everyone else in the office. Questions get answered through the app instantly. The practice is also located inside a hospital. Overall 10/10 experience, I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Yates to everyone.

The staff was extremely kind and professional. This was my first cosmetic surgery, so I had some general concerns but they made the process more than easy. Dr Yates was attentive and available for all of my questions leading up to the surgery and even after. And I had a lot of questions. He listened to what I described and the look that I was going for. One thing, I especially appreciated was his ability to translate my wishes into realistic outcomes in the pre-op appointment. I am 5'3" and 150 lb and he made sure they weren't too large so that my body would be balanced. I am EXTREMELY happy with the results and wish I had done this for myself sooner. I went with 415 cc silicone unders (high profile). They've dropped and fluffed so naturally and filled in where my breasts were deflated due to weight loss - and it's only been less than two months. I'm can't express my gratitude enough towards Dr Yates and his staff. If I choose to get any other cosmetic surgeries in the future, I will… definitely be back.

I have now seen Dr. Yates and team for multiple procedures. Every time I go into the office I feel welcome, valued and like an old friend. From the time that you call and speak to Melissa, engage with Lindsay and meet Sandy you realize you are valued and not just a patient. Everyone in that office has been hand picked and it shows. Gene is simply the most hysterical anesthesiologist you will ever come across and he has a natural calming effect that will make you at ease. Dr. Yates is a true visionary and has so much talent. Not only does he have the ability to see what can be he has the craft to make it so. I am the most excited the on the day after reveal because I get to see first hand at what he has created. It simply brings tears to my eyes. He always pays attention to the fine details that one may not even realize, this is apparent in the first conversation with Dr. Yates. Be cautious of the 5 start reviews they offer discounts for leaving a good review and bug u for months about it. Not saying everyone had a bad experience but mine left me fighting severe depression. After breastfeeding I wanted to feel good about myself again. I went to Dr. Yates in hopes of getting some confidence back. This has been the worst mistake of my life I went from being a little insecure about my breast to severely depressed (medication just to sleep). I’m petite 5’1 120lb with naturally big breast (large C) I wanted to get some volume back in my breasts and a better shape and possibly a nipple reduction. Dr Yates made me believe that just with small breast implants I could get the results I wanted. I was so excited and trusted him that I had them done. I look ridiculous so unproportioned to my body heavy and their actually making my breasts sag more, I went from wearing cute pushup bras to full coverage support sport bras. My scars under my breast don’t even match one is… on the crease and the other is on the breast. I can’t do any kind of arm workouts pull-ups, pushups without them feeling like the implants are going to rip through my scars. When I flex my arms, lift anything they lift upwards (breast look like ET’s head). They don’t feel natural even though they tell u they will, they don’t look natural, I have a lot of breast tissue and u can still see the implants depending on how I lay down or move my arms. I also got the nipple reduction which this is the worst part, Dr. Yates made me believe that I would benefit from it and everything would be great, I asked him multiple times if I would still be able to breast feed in the future, he didn’t say maybe or 50/50, he told me YES (I wish I had it on recording) or else I wasn’t going to get it done. I am left with permanent nerve damage and literally no nipples it’s flat/ no side profile, u can’t feel where they were. He destroyed my nipples, every day I deal with pain, my nipples don’t form (poke out or get hard) there’s no shape, if they try to form (from the cold, etc ) they hurt like their being ripped/pulled from the scars on my nipples, they get flaky/peel I have to put coconut oil on them, they itch, the worst part is they cause me severe pain if my partner tries to latch on or even stimulate them (slightest touch or nab) I start crying from the pain and they stay sore for days. I have seen multiple reconstructive plastic surgeons in the past 3 years, that have confirmed that I will never be able to breast feed again, that the method Dr. yates cut my nipples leaves a painful tip, loss of sensation and with no chance of breast feeding that they never recommend or do that type of method, something that Dr. Yates never mention and like I said insured me that, I would benefit and still be able to breastfeed his either dishonest or lacking knowledge and they are all in complete shock that Dr. yates did such surgeries on me and not have suggested something else or just not done them. I’ll I can do is sit there and cry while each surgeon looks at me, it would cost me about 20k for them to take my implants back out , reconstruct my nipples/ grafting and a lift to try to fix everything that he caused but will forever live with the pain from the nerve damage. It has ruined my sex life, my ability to feed my child, my self-esteem, always in pain. I know I chose to get these surgeries done but I trusted Dr. Yates in guiding me, being honest and providing the best outcome. I wish I would have seen the reviews on other websites people mention, that his like a car sales man and as long as u have the money he’ll do anything whether it’s for the best interest of your body or not. I wish I never had anything done and learned to love and be comfortable with myself, no one likes their own breasts, nose, butts etc. I would do anything to have my mom boobs/nipples back. But if you still wish to get anything done please do your research and who u trust this is your life and body and remember it’s not a permanent fix. Really think about it before going and cutting up perfectly healthy breasts.

I just got huge ugly scars, nipples are completely different, my husband told me no to take off my bra even when I sleep. At my appointment with Dr. Yates I asked to fix my problems, so he told me that my breasts are great and he is very happy with the result. I started to cry, because I have a depression and my husband with not happy with the result. I remind Dr. Yates that he promised me to fix my breasts before the surgery if something will be wrong, he changed his face and became angry and told me that it is my anatomical problem and he cannot fix it. I asked him why I was not told beforehand that I have anatomical issues, so he replied that it was a miscommunication. Another doctor I… visited after that appointment told me that I have no anatomical issues and breasts can be fixed. I just realized that Dr. Yates just cannot do breasts lifting at all.

Dr. York Yates is a rock star of body work! I needed to have old implants removed and a reconstruction. Every other Dr. told me it could only be done with two surgeries. Dr. Yates PROVED THEM ALL WRONG. He took the time to explain the risks and possibilities and advocated for what I wanted. He left me with the small breasts I wanted in one surgery with NO complications. I can't say enough about his skill and how appreciative I am not to undergo months of waiting and 2 surgeries! Thanks Yates. You are amazing!

I had a breast augmentation 3 months ago that was performed by Dr. Yates. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. He was so great with helping me choose the best implant for the look I was trying to achieve. I felt like he listened and answered my questions really well. It's hard to imagine what the end result is going to look like in reality, but I put my trust in him that he would deliver a great result. I'm so glad I did! I'm so happy with my results! I had a lot of questions after my consultation that he answered very promptly when I emailed him. And after the surgery he promptly answered a question that I had through text. I was so impressed by that!! The surgery went so well and my recovery was amazingly easy. I didn't use any of the narcotics that were prescribed. I was able to control the pain by simply using Tylenol and Ibuprofen. I love my results and would recommend Dr. Yates to anyone. My experience was fantastic and I love the end result!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Yates! I had visited two other Plastic Surgeons and I was impressed with his bedside manner as well his options for me. I felt very comfortable and trusting in his decisions, and I was more than happy with my results. His staff were friendly and I left feeling like family.
