Dr. Yunyun (andrew) Lo, MD

Performed beautifully, no pain or complications. Excellent bedside manner, attentive and present. Excellent doctor and surgeon.

Dr. Lo tried to steal a perfectly healthy gall bladder from me. He lied and said it was riddled with stones. I was being prepped for surgery and fortunately my parents intervened and took me to a hospital in CT. The MRI's were transferred to the hospital in CT from Beth Israel and all of the doctors stood around scratching their heads, wondering why on earth Dr. Lo was going to take out my gall bladder. They took another set of MRI's in CT just in case the wrong reports were sent and again, not a single stone. I have no idea why Dr. Lo would gut and remove healthy organs from me. But if I were someone considering surgery with him, or maybe you accidentally ended up with him through the emergency room (like me) I would be very wary and get a second opinion. Oh he also regularly brought an entire classroom of students with him on his rounds. Maybe I was a guinea pig. Also, Beth Israel was filthy, understaffed and generally chaotic.
