Not a good guy . Does not give people the time of day

One of the best Dr around, his diagnosis is spot on and he spends a lot of time with patients

Dr. Shaheen will focus on you and will always figure out the problem.

This is a difficult review for me to write because while my first impression of Dr. Shaheen and his staff was one of caring, the doctor's actions that followed do not sustain this. I do not know or suggest that what he did in my case is what he does with his other patients. But this I do know: for my doctor to refuse to order a test knowing I was in pain, and knowing that the last test he ordered recommended more tests if the pain persisted , and for him to decline to "provide the clinicals" for the test to be considered for approval as I was told today by an authorization representative, are, in my opinion, unconscionable . These choices were clearly not patient-centered, or made to benefit me. The staff told me that my going to an orthopedist would only be one more additional appointment for me to keep, although they did not count my wait or the next appointment for the test. So I have an appointment in three weeks, my orthopedist's next available opening. If you don't… mind being put on hold when you are in pain and after you have repeatedly asked for medical help then you can add more stars. May my new doctor honor the trust I place in her.
