Dr. Zaven Jabourian, MD

I had sudden hearing loss in my left ear. He treated me with an aggressive dose of prednisone & I got approximately 60% of my hearing back. Great Doctor!!

I would not recommend this dr to anyone. he is very rude and has no bedside manners. he did not want to listen to my symptoms or answer my questions he acted as if my pain was not a concern and my symptoms were not a big deal. my 4yr old daughter was also referred to him, she had failed 2 hearing tests before and he insinuated the prev dr didn't know what they were doing and nothing was wrong with her. she ended up having tubes put in her ears by another dr 2 months later.

I would never recommend this doctor to a friend or enemy. Went after a referral from a general practitioner to confirm a diagnosis and the doctor didn't take me seriously from the start. He was unhappy with the fact that my practitioner had diagnosed me without consulting him first. He was so fixated on this that he wouldn't listen to me about what was going on. He basically told me that my certain illness was all in my head, caused by stress and that I needed to stress less. He also told me when he found out that I was on anti-depressant medication that we are "over drugging America" and I should consider coming off of it. He had no right, considering he isn't a mental health professional and it had nothing to do with my diagnosis. Guy is a jerk. I have a close girlfriend who also went to him and he treated her the same way. His staff is also extremely rude and you can tell they would rather be anywhere else but there.
